That thing smokes as if it was a two stroke....it is a 4 cycle so it should not .. looked like someone needs to do a top end, guessing if you drove it in the video, the bottom end would be problematic as well... In Poland for a few weeks, have cash if someone is selling classic Polish , WW2 or older era motorcycles let me know... I come back yearly ...sometimes twice a year.😊

Hi I recently purchased a 2012 KLR650 and it came with exact pannier rack that you have on the bike in this video however I have the tusk boxes but I don’t have the mount That you would bolt to the boxes to attach to the rack. I have been unable to figure out what type of rock that is so I can order the appropriate hardware do you happen to know I’ve done a lot of searching and this is the first time I’ve seen the same rack. Thanks.

On start up in very cold weather, the car heats around the battery, hence the delay in heat reaching the inside of car. Best to put the car in hold mode, as the ICE engine will heat the engine very quickly, return to EV mode after 10 minutes, and all will be fine.

So, loud farting exhaust noise makes it sound "manly"? Why the heck would you pay money for more noise??? Are you trying to impress or intimidate someone? I want to find a quieter muffle for my KLR.

Did OP ever resolve this? What was the solution? A possible workaround is to press the LEAF button repeatedly until car goes into HOLD mode. This will force the gas engine on which should then provide heat.

Great job. Found your channel while searching tool tubes. I figured on a Pelican top box but never thought about a case behind the rack. Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Pelican is in, 4in PVC pipe is out. Looks like we are neighbors, My parents still live in Haverstraw, I moved up to Orange County.

Wish I could give your video 50 thumbs up. In about 30 secs of your video, you showed me everything I needed to know.Wwhat bolts to remove, and what they looked like. ( I wondered if top bolt had a nut. It does not!) In other videos the guys spend video time filming themselves looking around their shop for ?? whatever! Block the view of what they are working on with their elbows, etc. You showed everything great. Good video.

I have the same issue. The problem is that the car is used in another country where there is no dealer and on service guys told it's 'additional coolant heater'. Have no idea what to do...
