One of the clearest most concise Affinity Photo videos I've ever seen. Thank you!

Thanks for writing my essay

If I have a photo that I don't like the style of can I go back in and change it?
@spiketheyoutuber yes if you batch edit the photo, you can go back and change it or even multiple photos just go and re edit the photo with another macro recording of the edit save as a preset (just like in the video) and then select the RAW photo to apply that edit to, and if you set it to save in the same folder with the other edits the old one will be replaced with the new one
Canva is empowering the world of talentless people to proliferate shitty, mediocre digital art and design. Meanwhile, Affinity is over hyped, shitty, buggy software. Therefore, the marriage of Canva and Affinity can only lead to a staggering amount of design shittiness in the not-too-distant future. Even GIMP and Inkscape are superior to Affinity. The End.
I couldn't agree more.
@SeanRiley-s2f well, I've never seen Affinity as overhyped. I found the software tried it as a professional artist who makes their own stuff from scratch and love to use it. To each their own. But it was cheap and works great for me and takes the monopoly away from power hungry companies like Adobe. 👍
@@ZachShurtzMicrosoft, Google, Nvidia, Meta Platforms, Adobe, etc. are, indeed, money-grubbing mega-corporations. Unfortunately, they aren't being toppled any time soon.
how do you do it with your Player character moving while your recording a movie
@RobG-g1u I used a different point of view I think you use one of the F1-F3 buttons on your keyboard to change your view perspective
Wow. You have been busy Zach. No wonder you vanished for a while XD
@zeldamarkedlink right!? Haha yeah things have been busy! But yeah learning a ton so I'm excited to come back and make more content around it!
I haven’t posted in a while, I wouldn’t say burnt out, but just a lack of desire to keep making them. I obviously didn’t know how to make videos or even make cuts to them in the beginning, my first ever video was one continuous uncut recording. But I learned a bit about editing after a few vids. I enjoyed that. I think my problem is that I went into it with high hopes and expectations. But it’s obviously a lot harder than just uploading gameplay or something. I record my gameplay but for some reason cannot get myself to put it all together and upload something. I don’t know, I think my priorities have changed recently. Hopefully I can figure out some stuff.
Yeah it's hard because there is just only so much in your control. You can make and post videos all you want but it doesn't mean anything is supposed to happen. But time and effort compound eventually and there's no way you can't get better, because you'd get better each time, either in recording, editing or maybe just exploring the types of things you might want to make videos about. I've jumped around a lot on the type of content I make, I honestly find for me I love to make videos just talking about something I'm passionate about. But it's different for everyone and just like a job it's not for everyone. But if you got the determination to keep coming back from time to time and keep things as a hobby the expectations will be lower and you can have more fun. And it seems like that's when most channels blow up. But yeah it's so hard!
@@ZachShurtz I agree, if you want it as a career then it takes a lot of time and effort you may not of realized initially. I think I will always just have it as a hobby though. Come back to it whenever I feel like it and stop whenever I want as well
@@loneranger9422 and that's super healthy! I burnt out a lot because I was trying too hard! Keeping it as a hobby is perfect!
Why do you love TH-cam? What made you fall out of love with it?
Genuine funny and wholesome creators. And same stale style of youtubers with the same editing, same thumbnails, same ideas.
OH yes! I totally agree with that, I had a hard time determining why I was so frustrated and that's the perfect way to say it! Nothing felt genuine anymore, like everyone's just playing the same game here and copying eachother to the point where individuality is just gone. All clones of eachother! Well said!
@@ZachShurtz YESSS! I'm personally trying to fit into my own kind of style for my community so first gets crossed people appreciate it!
Fingers* oops
@@Lex_thebearqueen no worries! I got what you meant!
I just dumped Adobe and I'm trying the 6 month Affinity trial. This video goes a long way into getting me started. Thanks
@captainkanji1 so glad you alsp chose to ditch Adobe, I'm so grateful to hear it helped you jump into Affinity quicker! I made this because I wish I could of found a tutorial that did this exact process like you might do in other programs!
I love the paper screen protector! I've been using them for like 2 years now and they are amazing! The only caveat is that it can wear down the tip of your apple pen. But it takes a while to do that. And The screen protector does wear out after a bit. But I can get packs of two off of like Amazon for pretty cheap and I only have to replace it like every 6 months. ALSO, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ZACH? IT HAS BEEN A HOT MINUTE. I MISS THE TUESDAY STREAMSSSS T.T
@zeldamarkedlink haha yes! The protectors are pretty great! And yeah I took a break that ended up lasting for months on end! I got burnt out again and needed to plan out how to get my motivation for youtube back. So I should be posting more frequently again! I miss the Tuesday streams too!!!
What do you think of Paperlike? Are there any other suggestions for things you love to use for your iPad?
Wtf
@@andriskelemen912 😄
Wow💀
How do you rename images in batch editing? When I export images I'd like to title the images to the event or client instead of the file number. Thank you for your help!
@lindaqphotography7721 not sure if you can automatically rename them, you'd have to do it manually. If I find out otherwise ill come back and update my comment!
I love these programs but I have not found a way to make a contact sheet and view several images at the same time to show my client. Is there a way you can explain to us please, because in other programs it is very simple but not here I find the way. Thank you very much for your response and your excellent videos.
@user-tj8cw7fc7n I am not sure exactly how to show multiple images at once, but while ending you can have multiple files open on Affinity Photo and click between them to show them to a client. Or make a single file and make a collage of photos. But to show multiple photos all at once like you can in Adobe Lightroom, I'm not sure 🤔
For BluePrint University competition from Unspeakable I need a cheap light because i'm just a low budget student right now. Thx

Great job…clear, concise, life saver…I have a canon lens where the camera doesn’t recognize the lens profile, so I always get flat images, this has saved me hours of work…thanks for the tutorial.

Thank you mate. You saved my eyes
Is the gameplay smooth on oculus quest 2 ?
Yeah it plays well on oculus q2
2:30 or press f1
the green tinge of the leds is not good.
Fair enough, but you can color correct that out of the video or photos you take with it. It's definitely a budget option, so it's not perfect.
@@ZachShurtz fair statement…
Too much unnecessary background music.

Dude, too much talking, try to keep your videos straight to the point. I did not finish the video as I got bored even before you started "showing" your tutorial.
Good tips! Thank you. I tried my best, but it's helpful for those who are new to the program or need more information. Most tutorials on this program I have watched by other creators are even longer and don't go into detail. So I tried making one that I'd like to see. Sorry it wasn't helpful for you 😔

What is the maximum number of images a single batch process will support? Greater than 305?
I haven't found a limit. I've done over 1,000 photos. Just the speed depends on your computer's specs. But yeah no limit!
Excellent tutorial. Very detailed and helpful. After watching I was able to immediately apply batch editing.
Great to hear! Thank you for watching!
