When someone claims they like rye whiskey and then they say they don't like Rittenhouse rye that tells me right away they're a fool and have no idea what they're talking about. There's a reason Wine enthusiast gave this a 95/100 and Distiller gave this a 92/100 and that reason is it's a very tasty rye whiskey and at $25/$30 a bottle It's a buy all day.🥃

The only 2 we can get is the EWBiB and the OF86 and in my opinion the OF86 is by far better than the EWBiB. I would take the EW black label over the white label. OF 86 is pushing over $20 at this point a year later but I have started to buy the 1.75L bottles of it and just refill the smaller bottles with that.

To me, it's was most excellent.

The Still Austin Cask Strength and the Knob Creek 9 at 120proof might be my favorite bourbons right now. I mostly play in the under $30 realm.

How would this compare with Glenfiddich 14 Bourbon cask?

Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon is my favourite drink.as opposed to stupid scotch and every thing else..I am from India and the moment .I nose Jim Beam my mouth waters...i feel I am in the state of KY...and I resent you calling it hand sanitizer and all that bull shit

I really love Still Austin, especially the higher proof stuff, so I saw this and figured I should try some other Texas whisky, and wow! What a find for $30. Just a luxurious sip with a lot going on. And you are dead right about the finish, just as enjoyable as it is LONG.

I dont drink bourbon neat but I do once in a while like it over a 2" ice cube and let it sit for a bit and open up but mostly, I really like old fashions and when Im in the mood for a double oaked old fashion Its always going to be one of these two! Hard to say which one I like better because every time I have a WRDO I tell my self this is way better than the OF 1910 and every time I have an OF1910, I tell myself its way better than the WRDO. I just finished an Evan Williams single barrel OF and now Im sipping on some Michter's US-1 Heck drink it if ya got it! 🥃Cheers!

I honestly thought it was a great Bourbon as well. I went in not realizing it was a celebrity whiskey until I was talking about it with my cousin lol however my thoughts stayed the same. Everyone if you like Bourbon, try it.

I just found this locally after quite some time of looking for about 25 and some change.

Tried this last night for the first time and thought it was great. Paid thirty five dollars and will buy it again. Plenty of it here in Georgia now.

First wheated I tried. It's good but I think I like the rye flavor better. That said you can get a fifth for the price of a pint of bourbons I think are comparable overall.

I notice you have a couple of bottles of Makers Mark 46 behind you, try the Cask Strength also. Cheating to put their entry level up for review when you have the better of the distillery in plain view!

I picked up a store pick of this in port aransas a couple of days ago. It's fantastic!

To me, it smelled like rubbing alcohol. When I was about to sip, it hit the back of my nose like gasoline. I couldn't drink it

Thank you for a critical review of Jim Beam. And for a recommendation of Evan Williams. I have to try it. It is available here in Finland. Bourbon is a new thing to me. I have tasted only Jack Daniel's and Jim Beam so far. Latter had less flavour.

It's easy to be the best when you are the only, and even better when you are the best! Here in upstate NY its now $41.99 + tax but let's not bicker over pocket change. only one Old Grand Dad 114 ($26.99) is less in price. I like all MM but the Cask Strength is really tasty over ice or in an old fashioned. 🥃Cheers!

Bought the Full Proof about a week ago, new had anything stronger than WT101. I think the Full Proof for the price is amazing, different tastes each time I try it. Got it for $20.99.

Now imagine if they bumped this to 107-110 proof!

Of course Ancient Age is Baby Blantons but much cheaper. They are both made by the Sazerac company. Both are made from the same mash bill #2. I just bought a fifth of AA for $12. It is the best budget bourbon to me. Smooth and very mixable. Way better than Jim Beam or Benchmark and the price is right. Wish i'd discovered it earlier.

Wonder why they dropped the BiB for this? It's still 100P & aged at least 4 yrs. My guess is they blended it w whiskey from a different season (not allowed for BiB) or they just didn't want to go through the extra stuff w the government to get the BiB label approved.

I actually prefer the rye over normal Wild Turkey 101 but taste is an individual thing. I have always leaned towards bourbons with high rye contents. 😎🇦🇺👍
