Hi there, welcome to my channel.
I'll be uploading videos about my journey from knife noob to knife maker, making tools and jigs, and learning a lot along the way.
I will try and make sense of all the knowledge about knife making that is out there and and share my experiences with you.
I want to try and break down the projects, tools and materials to levels so it's easy to follow and maybe even join my journey as I progress, let me know what you think about my videos and if it reflects your real world experiences.
I will upload a video every week or two as life allows.
Subscribe and stay tuned.

Thanks you for all your support :)

Single Speed Bicycle | Steel Frame Modification & Restoration
This video is a bit different, since I've been building steel frames again (Check out my insta! @drop_forged_cycles) I thought I'll document the restoration and modding of the last road frame a made 1o years ago.
This frame was originally built jig-less and in a bit of a rush, as it was part of a larger project. (check out Flux Bicycle on Dezeen if you like).
It's has Columbus Steel Tubing (Zona if i remember correctly), some Richard Sachs Lugs, a Nova BB shell and Track style drop-outs.
I remove the paint, add a rear brake bridge and redo the rear triangle.
then I give it some new paint and ridgelines to make the lugs pop out a bit more.
* Since this became a bit hard for my PC to handle I decided to split the video in two; in the next video I'll show how I make a Custom Steel Stem and the Bronze Head-Badge.
Please let me know what you think in the comments!
Cheers, and happy rides!

In this video I attempt every step at least 3 times! I have learned so much making this video, from forging a big knife to silver soldering brass. Hot and cold working brass, hot handle fitting and so much more. let me know what you think in the comments

I once made a stick like that. When I rubbed the sharp tip, it pricked my hand😢
Hello; would you mind explain why those thick double walled rims are better than the older rims (aluminum too) used years ago? The same question about the spokes. Thanks
Super nice work🎉
В детстве помню тоже делал ножи из того, что под руку попадётся, например из консервной банки... обувной ложки... вобщем-то из всякой...
Si o si debes hacerle una cacha de madera de caoba
Very. Good work! Interesting take on the use of the Swivel capability, you only need to make adjustments for the different angles i.e. 17 and 25º etc. and you have a top-notch filing jig. It’s always cool to see someone who is creative, thanks for your ideas!
Lmao, I love it when people just make shit up
Read my comment below, I guess it was my fault for putting the two videos together. I couldn’t film the part in between.
The bottom of that cooler must be tough
The blade is ABE-L it was air quenched in the SS case between two aluminium blocks. After it cooled it was cryogenically cooled, then tempered for 90 min at 170c twice. What you see in the cooler is acetone and dry ice. I can see why it would look like we’re quenching in ice water :)
Sr can you upload the plan please
Soft pine wood, doesn't need razor sharp knife
Человек умеющий работать головой и руками достоин уважения!
Nice work, did you use it for a kill or just stored it.
Hey there, this is an awesome project, i really like to rebuiltd that one - do you have the plans by any chance?

Lovin the forged bling! Bring it on
Cheers m80❤
great work!!!🤩🤩🤩
Thank you m80 ❤️
וואו, אחד המרשימים, אחלה עבודה 👌
תודה רבה!!!
Please ✋️ Stop You have no handle knife building skills to be teaching. Just erase all your teaching videos and do justice to them, that knows I'm sorry I seldom give thumbs down. Hopefully, anyone seeing this will take your video as a joke. There are limited tips in your shop. But hopefully, others convince you to stop teaching what you don't know. Shame on you
Those motors are way to fast to run direct with a 3 or 4 in drive wheel. They spin 7600rpm. You only need 3000-3600 fpm on the belt. a 4 in wheel is going to move just over 12in a min. So High speed is on the motor is going to be close to 8000 fpm. I used a jack shaft and a 1:2 ratio to cut the drive wheel in half and get the proper fpm. Mine never bogs down under a load and is plenty fast to remove metal. It is not made of wood and nothing to fancy but you can find a demo on my channel. I did get rid of the skate wheels and go to normal belt grinder wheels. But congrats on getting off your ass and making something. Why heat up the spade bit and draw the temper out of it? This is about where I am so far. But I intend to watch
I need plans pls.if you want thanks
Plans? Is there a chance?
Dope AF knife, @tauftools!
Bissel's SteamShot works great for removing tape residue.
Very good project! And, looks to be very affordable too. I’m wondering what hp motor you are using and how needed is speed adjustment. I’ve been looking for a simple design to make a grinder for small knife production. I’m doubting that I’d use it much for woodworking, but maybe a bit. Thanks for sharing.
Hi there, thank you for your comment, Im currently using a 2hp motor and a slightly larger and more sturdy controller. Hard wood does challenge it but all metals on low 36 to medium 300 grit runs fine. These motors don’t like low speeds, better to work on higher speeds and play with the grain then try to work with slow belt speed. Good luck
Good wheelset !
Found in different cities around the world ❤️
Great idea, nice to see you show your fuck-ups as well, nice ¡to know i´m not the only one 🤣🤣🤣
Fuckups are half the fun 🤩 I try to show how things really go when possible. Mistakes happen all the time and start to disappear only when I’ve done something multiple times; which is usually not the case with what I show here. cheers m80, thanks for the comment
Amazing knife & a great video a pleasure to watch.
Nice
Отличная работа, но...силуэт танто и закруглённый чойл не гармонируют. В целом - 👍🙂
Hi man beautiful job! This material is good for knives?
looks good, nice build, but for a really good carving knife The blade should be thinner!! and the blade should be at least 58 - 60 rockwell!!
"this is where I should have stopped" 😂😂 I can totally feel you I wanted to say: thank you for sharing your experiences!
it takes a lot of work.
Mantap broo👍
Exactly what i am looking for. Great job, and understandable presentation. Allthough this was presented 2 years ago, i would very much apreciate to have the plans, please. How can i get them?
Peanut butter will break down the adhesive property in the masking tape glue. Use dish soap & running warm water to wash away the peanut butter. This procedure may require a couple of applications in a row to remove all of the adhesive & peanut butter but it will get the job done.
The speeded up parts are really hard to watch. For us old guys.
shit handel
Waw. Ini sangat spektakuler dan karambit belati yg menawan
Sincerely appreciate very much. Nice Job . Good size if there was cover, would be much nicer, just yo protect such a nice blade.
That’s not a koranbit it has a ring not a hole
Still waiting on those plans.... It's only be what, a year? :p
Excelente trabajo! felicitaciones
You make it manual.very mpressive Appreciate to you👏👏👏
BEAUTIFUL !!
could have created hybrid cleaver or syberian cleaver or new style cleaver
Look less sharp
Can you please send me the knife same as karmbit knife
Quero uma assim como fasso
