Nice pad sound. Distortion is actually a very valuable component in sound design. The classic oberheim filter sounds so special because there is clipping happening inside the filter electronics.

Hi. I wonder if you’re still reading and replying to comments about this awesome sound design session. You are really into the Moog One, thank you for sharing your process. I’ve had mine since January and find your explanations helpful. If you are reading this, I wonder if you could explain to me how to use the iterative functions in the mod matrix. The manual isn’t very clear to me. For instance, what constitutes the “previous pass”? A video on this would be great, but even a reply would be helpful. ITERATIVE FUNCTIONS: For the functions below which use the letter “V”, V is the function’s result value from the previous pass. This allows for feedback and repeating cycles. Thank you.

Have you played with that erica perkins thing yet? It looks cool bc each sample can be sent to a different effect, which can go to outboard guitar pedals.

You inspire me. I just acquired an Alesis Andromeda and opened it up and cleaned all the pots and installed a new screen and it’s BEYOND BELIEF. I bought a Waldorf Iridium Keyboard partly due to your Video. I have an ajj on so Force and Maschine Plus running through a roland Mx-1 performance mixer and my JDXA running through usb aira connection. Your performance videos inspire me All the Time and you are beautiful.

Jomox always made great sounding racks and machines. Now, I wouldn't say it is the best period. Tempest beats it in flexibility. AR is miles away feature wise. I find AB somewhere in the Tanzbar territory, and that is very good. Kicks are amazing, hats sound great, that's about it. Coming from someone working with groveboxes and drum machines for 30+ years and owning or owned most of this stuff, I would always use Jomox for solid kicks.

I sold my Iridium to get an Alesis Andromeda. The Andromeda is beyond belief! I am totally and completely in Massive Love with it! I can honestly say that it is the most elegant and capable synth I’ve ever owned, and I have been buying synths since 1985. Having said all that, I miss my Iridium so much that I am now looking at listings online. Your video has made that a certainty! That would mean that I have the most powerful analog synth and the most powerful digital synth. The drawback? I love GAS. I live laying in bed and watch TH-cam vids of synths I’m interested in. What could I possibly need when I have an Andromeda, an Iridium, a Waldorf Pulse 2, and a Roland JDXA(an under-appreciated synth that I can’t part with). Maybe I need a Moog Muse……I think I need a 12 step program!

After seeing you talk through the Moog One in another video I thought I would open my wallet and grab one, then recoiled a little when I saw the price…more from despair as I would love one of these toys…unless I can come round and play with yours 😅

The video is cool. This jomox is probably one the best drum machine analog. Until you try the analog rytm. By the way, the best drum machine ever is the 909, period. A stellar gap between it and any other contenders🙂

I was completely distracted by the kitchen and boobs 😂
