Algood info my friend appreciate it thank you very much for everything Bible study how to put a new frame under my 66 GTO Ford 9-inch quick performance hope you had a good Thanksgiving
They align it like that in most factories...just saying
Great video, sorry to hear about jeff, but he couldn't have had a better boss and place to work
Jeff was an amazing man and we will miss him dearly. Thank you so much for the kind words, means more than you can imagine.
pointless
You’re a good man. 🙏
Two minutes in and you hit the number one thing in electrical issues ever. You can never have enough ground. Even more so today.
God bless the young man's family and all you guy's at the shop, I love God, family, people, and my toys !
Amen
I’m gonna trust the lord to provide me a 1970 Chevelle again and have the funds to pay you to build it with all these features &❤
What does the frame look like if the roof is "cracked" from twisting?
Its all loose as the body bushing and mounts are wasted as well…
Theres a pc of tape on tire also. One full turn amd thats where u stop to count rotations. Reply to other comment. 😅
Definitely would
SORRY……THE STAR OF THE SHOW IS THE CHEVELLE BODY LINES….ICONIC LIKE NO OTHER……sure add in a nice engine…..we had them before…396 and 454 were no slouch….sure add in excellent handeling….even GM knew they should have done that ….the car is very nice I will say that😎😎
Those lines are ICONIC.
Awesome builds and I am also a Chevelle fan as well. I have a 69 that I am restoring. What was the main power distribution bus in the trunk? Thank you. Also, cup holders in a Chevelle..oh yeah. :)
We actually will be releasing an episode this Friday that breaks that down in great detail. So stay tuned. It drops at noon Friday. Thanks for the question
I’ll leave ya my name and number so when your finished and you want to give this wonderful work of American art a good home, you can contact me. No, no, no. I’m not gonna keep it as a trailer queen, Ima drive it proudly as it should be. Put her to bed in her own little house, with conditioned air and 70’s soft rock music to sleep by. A bath in warm soapy water on that sleek, smooth body and of course under her hood, 😉. I admit, I don’t drive as much anymore but I can just imagine when I pull up to the VA and get my chair out the trunk, ALL the boys will be droolin! If it weren’t for guys like us, the world would not be as super a place to be in. Never stop restoring the classics. Thank you.
Y apply the primer before welding, if anything shouldn't u do it after welding so it don't burn? Also when u say plug weld, Im assuming u mean tack weld or spot weld it right?
He also said it was "weld-through" primer specifically to keep rust from forming in the seam where his repair is plug welded to the car. The inside of the weld wont rust, but it's not a solid bead all the way across, it's plug welded. Where there is no weld, the primer will protect the metal. Where exposed to the elements, it will get paint and clear coat I assume
@@wookiee1807 Oh so your saying in case the weld doesn't penetrate all the way through the complete thickness of the metal then thats where this will come in handy. Right? Or r u saying when he is welding does this primer melt and mix into the weld puddle giving the melted base metal at the joint of the welded portion complete protection? (I'm probably overthinking this second question.)
I don't do body work.... But I needed to know about weld-through primer...
Handy thing to have around the shop
Where do you get the new stamped metal? I use LMC for the trucks
We get the majority of our Stamped Metal from Auto Metal Direct
"The thing that tells you if it's in drive or whatever"- the most merican thing in this vid 😂
Sometimes I speak a little faster than I can think lol
So it keeps the junk in the engine
OK, you asked for ideas: I like 68-69 Chevelles, and for a styling improvement, these cars could use a rear bumper with integrated exhaust tips, kinda like the 68-69 Olds Cutlass. On stock cars, they just kinda just hang there underneath the bumper.
That's not a bad Idea at all. Exterior wise I've been trying to keep em as close to OEM as possible, but if a customer did want that, there is no reason we couldn't make that happen
We always called the 9inch gear section a pumpkin.
Die hard Chevelle guy checking in. Hoping to see something I can use on my car. The red/black 72 in the background looks alot like mine did before I put on the Raceline rims and lowered the car.
It blows me away that cup holders were not in vehicles when I was a kid. We just didn’t drink anything on road trips. Our parents and grandparents just absorbed moisture out of the air coming in from the wing windows.
People too lazy to use a spanner or socket
New to this channel, love it
Thank you so much.
Chevy!!! 😎
Gotta Love an Old School Blazer
@studiohotrodsofficial I got a 1980 C20 with a 4 speed Muncie!! 😎
Did this thing is so sick, I want to come to your shop and film this and put it on my channel
If you are every in the Richmond area, feel free to stop on in. We are open 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 10am to 12pm
Scam, My 1978 C20 2wd 350ci 4brl is ALL ORIGUNAL. I hate these scams
You'll have to explain how our product is a scam. It's perfectly ok to not like our product and want an all og vehicle, but calling us a scam is a whole other story.
I like the bad better.
Beauty of these rides, build em your way.
Got any cool cup holder designs for square bodies. Most of what I’ve seen is..... well not cool
I just pulled my 76 Blazer in the shop to do some R&D on upgrades we can make for the square bodies.
The only problem for me is I don’t have a hot rod at all. Now that hurts
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! AMERICAN(Chevelle’s)CARS!!! AND US OWNERS!!!!..RB
God bless you Ron, See you Tuesday at bible study
Why do you have one then?
Cause I raided Chucks tool box. He once worked at a collision shop where this tool got some heavy use.
That’s how your new vehicle coming down the assembly line is adjusted.
Welded hinges dumb ass
Why dont they just use the Adjustment Bolts? Cheap & Easy?
It's always better to learn from others mistakes. Thank you !
Bahahaha. For the good of the people
They do this in the factory mate, so……
What if it was bent and this bends it back. Seriously doubt adjusting a few cm isn't going to wreck shit. Fuck, we were taught to jump on yhe damn door at the dealership to show how sturdy a Toyota is lol
Why didn't you show the 68 Chevelle with the key in the column because it was still in the dash 69 went to the column.. heck im not sure what's bad is I had a 68
I own a 98’ Chevy K3500. The hinge brackets are *glued* on the truck *and* the door. How else am I supposed to adjust door alignment?
That's it I'm moving across the pond and settling down in Iowa 🦅
Kind of ironic alot of custom cars they remove the headrests or install seats with no headrest.
Yeah... as someone with neck issues, bulging disks, and numerous joint problems, the thought of having a car without headrests is absolutely terrifying. I guess it's a good thing my favorite car is a 69 charger, but my very very close second favorite, the 59 caddy would just have to have a little modification. ...and my first choice for any vehicle that would be a daily driver if money was no issue, would be a resto-mod 1945-56 power wagon ...so I guess one of the mods on that would have to be headrests also. 😬
Soooo y do u have one lmao
Thanks. Definitely not going to you for my car service.. now I'm wondering why you own one.
Like the video great job guys
Thank you so much for tuning in and for the kind words. Means a lot.
Sounds like a license to print money. That's very industrious of you and your team. Best wishes --CLUTCH_AND STICK
The idea came from making these for our Warranty Chevelles. When we started getting inquiries from folk for their home builds, we knew we needed to figure out a way to make these quickly. Thanks for the well wishes, love the support.
