Welcome to The Random Recipe Project! Join me on a culinary adventure where every meal is a journey into the unknown. In this video series, I turn my eclectic collection of cookbooks over to fate, letting a random draw decide what I’ll be preparing next. Lot's of happy accidents in my kitchen! 😅 I usually make applesauce in my slow cooker, but I'll try roasting next time I happen to have my oven on.
It was my first time roasting it too! It added some lovely caramel notes and a bit firmer drier texture. Definitely something I’ll be doing again.

Hard pass for me. I don't like White Castle to start with and then that mess was done to it 🙂 I applaud you for following through with making it after having randomly selected it. To be fair, I'd eat it if you offered me some but mostly out of morbid curiosity. The video was well done as usual.

Super fun recipe! Immersion blender is by far the easiest mayo method in my opinion. I like to brag that I can make mayo in under 2 minutes.

In 70s, 80s 90s,I cooked all the recipes in this book and the cookbook called "Recipes for a small planet". I had many cookbooks but it was these 2 I made all recipes and wrote how well it turned out for the children's taste bud's as well as guest . I'm 65 now and my grandaughter says she will cook me up some meals to freeze or refrigerate for me since I'm having difficult time with some things now. Molly thank-you for such a generation of delicious treasures.
