I visited Stonehenge sometime ago and was able to walk right through it. Your walk in the late fall evening sounds delightful! Congratulations on your wedding anniversary.

Oh, wow! That would have been magical. You can imagine pay to do it in the early morning and I looked at tickets but the only had them available at a time we couldn’t do, which was such a pity, but I enjoyed combining our visit with a walk of the local area. I will definitely visit again! 😍😊❤️

Happy anniversary to you both and I’m glad you had a wonderful day. There’s a real atmosphere around those stones isn’t there? We always drove past Stonehenge on the way to my in laws and I loved seeing it on the horizon at night in particular. When I was a child there was a really scary tv programme called Children of the Stones that was filmed at Avebury that used to give me nightmares!

I hope I didn’t bring back the nightmares! The stones were absolutely magical. I loved it at Stonehenge and enjoyed the walk. It was lovely to do it after all this time of wanting to see it. Such a treat! 🥰❤️
