มุมมอง 5K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hey guys! Welcome back to the channel!, it’s time for another vehicle unveiling video! This time we go to recover my next big purchase, and a very rare one at that! This new project is a 1957 Albion Cairn Lorry! A short lived model the Scottish lorry manufacturer Albion made between 1955 and 1957. Only a few are known to survive today and this is one of them! Will it roll? Will it run? Will it ...
Where am I going next month?

Trailer would be a good next thing I do remember them will used to have one for shunting will had a few TK Bedfords with the scammell couplings at the time before the fifth wheel type come in put I always like the scammeell better.
Hey commenting as I’m watching lol , The angle tool you were using is what I know as a “bevel” I use 1 often. A step up for the work your doing there is a “protractor”with degrees on it there are loads of different styles available basically just use it the same as your using the bevel. The magic is tho it will take all the guessing out your angles If you offer it up to the part you want to copy and get the angle in degrees , you then simply half it and there’s your 100% correct cutting angle every time e.g. think a 90 corner in a box section frame - the cut is 45 Hope this is of some help I love your collection 😁
Didn’t know you had a TH-cam account. Did you get some help from bond spares?
Haven’t got round to restoring this one yet but I hope to soon, hopefully will get some bits from bond spares
I think they should add the musical chairs section to Formula1. That should spice things up a bit.
My mam is really happy to see the blue robin going really well.
It’s just had the gearbox off last week after the clutch Rollins sheared but it’s going great now!
When we gunna see the bond bug again. Or do you not have it. Haven’t watched your videos for while, 😔
You’ll see it soon
with many people up in arms about how modern trucks are overly complicated and pricey i can see how a really simple workhorse 3-wheeler like this could be a hit now! Who has the rights to these Scarabs and why not make them with up-to-date emissions but keep them analog AF? i read form the wiki that they can go up to 80 km/h? if they can hit that speed (maybe a bit faster) with a bed fully loaded at the back and keep up with highway speeds i can't see why it could not have a modern remake?
Dont have a spray gun..what spray cans could i use...sorry to keep on
I don’t usually use cans unless painting small bits, usually use Upol or similar though
My kittens been sanded down..was after a spray primer I could use just to tidy it up while I'm fixing other parts of the car..would it be OK outside with it being sanded down
Sorry what primer did you use please..kind regards, steve
High build primer
What primer do you use please
High build primer
@@LewiBuchProductions thanks
I was fascinated and drawn in by this...........until the bloody Fools and Horses bit. What a disappointment!
The van wouldn’t have suited any other look, the amount of damage that had been done to get it perfect to look like a pristine van would have been near impossible. The van gets so much attention and being only fools and horses replica not only makes car people happy but non car people too!
May I ask out of curiosity, is the Bond 875 a unibody? Is the front suspension really bolted onto the fibreglass? It's a fairly interesting idea of a rear engined reliant copy.
Yup it is I believe
Thats a great looking car...just asked the question of how to prep the inside of my reliant kitten for paint..was told to de grease with acetone sand degress again and paint with rustolium multisurface paint...does this sound right...sorry to ask
Sounds about right, not so sure with the paint though, I would use same paint as outside car, I use 2 pack
Great video young man and hopefully more to come keep up the good work used the Scarabs as yard shunters brilliant trucks
looking forward to this Lewi
Be very careful handling the body, they’re very fragile. A school friend had one nearly sixty years ago. He rolled it and the body came apart as the wood frame gave way. Last I saw of it his dad was going to cut it in half to make a trailer.
Bodies reasonably solid as long as the timber is!
sKKKimitar?
Really really like that little scamel 😁
How do the electrical trailer contacts work when the trailer is obviously moving around on turns and reverse etc
The section where the contacts for the trailer connects doesn’t spin about when driving! The swivel is above the hitch so wiring is not affected by movement of trailer
Any pointers as to where to find front and rear brake kits..and hosses..thanks in advance
CHG Classics for all your Reliant Needs! 🙂
Great episode...im toatally new to fibreglass
Hi I've just brought a reliant kitten...its had some major work on the shell ie the roof was repaired and it needs sanding back to see what horrors lie in wait...what's the best grade sandpaper for fiberglass..
Hi lewi can you tell me is it legal to drive a reliant on a provisional driving licence if you have a disability ?
Now im scared.lol...praying my reliant ist as bad..
Turns out it's pretty good...got him 2 hours ago..EBV 777S
Just brought a 1977 kitten...needs lots of work..will subscrib..im sure theirs plenty i can learn
Mines a DL to

How hard is it to get parts for a Bond 875?
I’ve not hunted too hard yet but seems to be okay since it uses imp parts
Exhaust blow Never put a Rover V8 in it and keep the same radiator. It's a pain in neck 😫 lol 😆 Great luck 👍 to you Gents 👍
Can I ask the type of paint you are using? Just purchased a Mk 1 . Yours looks great 👍
That looks a cool project 👍🏻
Nice. Similar reg to my 1962 Lambretta, which ends 'YUM'
She`ll be a stunner when finished.
Look forward to seeing this.
Was just wondering what happened to the mk5 and you went and told me wow you are good
A superb project, looking forward to seeing work start on it
That’s a beauty lewi
A couple of weekends and she’ll be as good as new 😜👍🏻🇬🇧
Is that the same engine, as the hillman imp ?
Sure is!
love the Albion Lewi
Was that from Freddie's yard?
Very good, was it a race car transporter ? - do you have any history of it ?
Got the full history of it! It was brand new to Gordon’s Of Alford as a mobile shop, this one being the General Merchant and household Furnishers van! There’s actually a video on TH-cam of there business back in the day and you can spot this Albion in there lineup of mobile shops!
@@LewiBuchProductions Very interesting, I grew up on the west coast, from when I can remember in the mid sixties to some time in the seventies, calling at our group of houses we had a mobile shop, a bread & cake van, a butchers van and a little tricycle cart thing that sold brushes, polishes washing-lines etc., oh and of course the milk man - those were the days ! - there were two BMC FGs, a Ford, the tricycle may of been a Reliant Ant and the milk man had an Austin 1100 estate with no doors and only the drivers seat !
When will you be doing the imp engined Bond?
Hopefully next year if all goes to plan
Great to see you back after a few months!
hi Lewi I saw you on geoff buy cars channel talking about your number plate being stolen that`s just crazy.
Looks like another challenge!!! 🙂
Something very different. looks a lot of work. Is it going to be a Reliant transporter?
Fair bit of work but very doable! It’s gonna be restored back into a mobile shop 🙂
@@LewiBuchProductions Looking forward to the rebuild. hope you give us a look around video soon to see the inside and engine.
Too many wheels!
I’m looking at it as two three wheelers in one since it should have 6 wheels🙈😂
When are you putting more videos on
Hopefully soon, between work and I’ve been getting another car mot ready I’ve not had time to film anything, I do have one video I’ve had waiting to release since Christmas but I was hoping to build up a series on it before I released it
You look like Lester from gta v5
Great car
is it easy to remove the shell? i’ve got one i need to remove the shell but not sure the procedure and if it’s hard
It’s not a bad job to do, worst bits lifting the body, just go over the shell from front to back and locate all the bolts and any wires holing it to the chassis, also remember the roll bar bolts under the car at the bottom of the B post
Never worked on 1 before worked on all other cars just not these, how long would u say it takes to remove everything to lift the shell@@LewiBuchProductions
