Hi, just wondering if you could help with what might be a common problem with an easy fix. When I go to put the bobbin in and thread it for embroidery, my thread keeps falling out of the little fork underneath, as I am putting it into the embroidery clip. Is that a bob intention issue? Is there a fix that I could do myself?

Thank you so much for all your videos. I would be going to the shop every five minutes. This machine is great but it sure is finicky and sometimes hard to deal with. I have an 880+ I love love love it. I don’t love love all the maintenance for it but appreciate you.

Is this due to a bad capacitor on the power board? Or is there a memory battery that looses charge, and needs to be charged back up? I have seen this with nv ram and cmos batteries on computer mother boards. If computer is not used for quite sometime the battery on the mother board can drain.

Christopher was able to correctly diagnose the problem with our B740 (failing CPU board) from just a brief description. Very impressive, and clearly based on vast experience and skills. I'd warmly recommend Christofer for any repairs or service on Bernina machines, I'm sure you'd be in safe hands.

Wouldn't pressurized air push more lint and dirt further into the machine as compared to s vacuum??

I hadto remove the screw on the needle post to get mine on because my old Bernina Record does not have the clearance shown in the video.

Thank you for sharing :) WHY did you blow innvard? Now you have send all the dirt insiden the machine! If you could blow fron below and upward the machine would be cleaner since moste of the dirt blows out from the top.

Thank you so much for this!! I was just gifted a 440 that’s practically brand new (only 40 hours total, 1 hour of work!!!). I was very nervous when I plugged it in and nothing happened. After an hour I was on the phone with the service department where it was purchased and it fired up. It took 62 minutes.

My new one takes like 2 minutes to turn on it’s a 570
