Analytics is not a new concept. Organizations apply analytics to all kinds of challenges in business areas like Operations, Customer Services and Marketing & Sales.
The business area that seems to lag behind in using these advanced methods is Human Resources (HR). Of course a lot of HR related data is being gathered.
However, much of the current HR related analytics create little impact. Even though more and more data is gathered and more sophisticated analysis becomes possible, HR rarely drives a strategic change.

Do we have to provide a snapshot of all the employees each month for this dashboard to work? Otherwise when you select the different years, the employees age will different and fall into different age bands. I am looking at buying this but with our current HR database I do not think I’ll be able obtain history only the data at the current status

One layman question sir, does power bi keep upgrading on every month? Unlike excel does it keep upgrading very frequently? How one can catch up with that improvement?
