there were 17,3 million people in the Netherlands, not 7,3. by now it has grown to over 18 million.

The two biggest reasons I think why cycling in The Netherlands is very safe is 1) the infrastructure with separate bikelanes, so there are less interactions with cars and possible accidents. And 2) all car drivers are also cyclists. So they are used to them and know how to respond/drive responsibly 😀

Hey OGE, I want you to know that all recomended places... in the video you have watched, left some ultimate places out of sight. At least 85% of what you watched are pictures/ movies from the 'Randstad' (and a little beyond). These two provinces are what we call Holland... Just 2 our of 12 Provinces. My brother is 2,0m and was always called "Nail" (Spijker) when he was in his early teens. I am 1,76m. Once he drove my Suzuki Alto for a while. He got a traffic issue and the guy in front if him stepped out. Then me brother stepped out of my Alto. Traffic calming for cars works. To bad it doesnt work for bikes and specialy electric bikes. At the moment the number off people hitted by electric bikes in the netherlands is so large that docters are asking for driving license for electric bikes. Electric bikers are insane and cause huge porblems. Specialy kids end up in hospital with serious brain dammage. This channel is been asked alot off times to make a video about it…but he doesnt want to. Not just bikes gives a idea that was real 10 years ago. Look for you self on number of bikers in hospital in the netherlands…its alarming. But hey….cars are slowing down.

I wouldn't say us Dutch don't have hierarchy. But they're definitely less pronounced. If I disagree with my boss, I will tell him how I think it should be done. And then we can discuss. This is a faux-pas in countries like Germany, where you're supposed to simply do what your boss tells you. But in the Netherlands, the boss still has the final say.

Thank you for promoting Polish culture! When I was a young fellow I danced it myself. The students are18 y old and they performed quite well and the choreography was elaborate. Hey OGE, you are still looking good 😊 . For 3 decades ago I was with Fierljeppen event, just to watch, that was in my home town. The Frisians (from the west provence to my provence) were very good. But in my home town there were not many contestants that were trained, soms people tried for the first time. And yes some got more than just broozes. No... some people broke a leg or an ankle. I have seen about two ambulances, driving away (and I did not attend they whole programn, so maybe more injuries happened, but luckily no fatality's) . But I don't kwow if you noticed, but de jumping poles are of different lengths. The smaller ones for kids and people who do it for the first time, the largest for the more experienced ones. Bye!
