Unfortunately this is what we as society have come to, but you know who fuels the problem? 80% of the attention seeking “car girls “ on social media! I hate it when genuinely love a car that pops up on my feed and I follow just to immediately find out is some chick’s with most of her posts being a provocative pose next to the fricking car that I came to see.. these people are much of the problem if not more!

Xterra can be tricky for adjusting the toe. They’re a little bit particular. Sometimes just being off not even a turn on one side throws the front end off a lot. 😫

I can sympathize. I feel sure that the car hobby attracts a lot of hairy-chested alpha males, who have what I think of not having high "B/T ratios", that is a ratio of brains to testosterone. But don't be discouraged; there are some nice ones out there (with higher B to T ratios!).

Im a bike mechanic (motorcycles) by trade and 45. I very much understand your frustration, had to switch to cars because I can't ride anymore cause of arthritis in knees. I get it. Don't give up:) Keep going with what you love to do, that matters most. Let the jerky behavior of other people fall bt the wayside and don't lose your focus on your passion. The more you work on your passion, the better it gets. I'm getting a '65 mercury comet 4 door with a 289 redone (automatic) atm and made it my daily more or less (budget consierdations). It's less worth than a two door but it's what I can do to be apart of classic car shows I enjoy. Also, there are some car ladies at classic car shows I've found. I was part of a classic car club that had afew that were older than me. But they are there. I learned alot from them but largely faced alittle of the struggle you've had, much more when I was younger. Going to car meets and shows to find other car ladies is like a needle in a haystack but they are there. Facebook or Instagram might be the quickest way to connect with other car ladies then do a meet-up with afew if they don't live too far away from you. Just a thought and just saying:)

I dont think its fair or right to lump all men in to one group. I am a bmw master tech. Ive worked with many women over the years and never even thought about sex. I talk them just like i do the men. And i expect the same thing from women as i do the men.. Do your job. Do it well. And always come to me if you don't know something or have a question, don't just guess. Women in the car industry is growing every year more and more.. So it's expected to see more women.Turning branches now than ever before So it's expected to see more women turning wrenches now more than ever before and me having to work with them. And as a woman I expect you to come to me if anyone is giving you a problem in any type of way. But also if i'm to treat you like the guys I also expect you to stand up for yourself and give them boys hell if you have to. But it's definitely not fair for you to sit here and say all men in the automotive business are predators towards all women coming into the industry. And also Nissan, sucks. By the way, sorry, just had to throw that out there.

You should take off the wing and spray paint those holes before rust begins to build as the metal is exposed. You can mask the trunk and just paint the holes but please do soon. If not you’ll cry later lol
