Number 1 rule, disconnect the battery , but seeing you dont have an airbag your saved .also the secret to taking off a stuck steering wheel is ,loosen the nut leave a few threads on then basically beat it like a drum right and left .won't need to pull anything. 👍 goodluck
When removing the steering wheel, always leave the nut on there 1-2 threads. Then when yanking it, the wheel doesnt smack you in the mouth. I know from experience!!

The way I remove a steering wheel is I loosen the nut untill it's on its last 3 threads,move my seat back to fully reclined position then I set up my anti lag and launch control so I take off at about 6 Grand with the tires nice and hot and usually after about 7 or 8 times a steering column comes right off...... LOL! But on a serious note isn't it crazy that changing the steering wheel changes the whole car?
Tip if you didnt put it in the video is to blue loctite those small allen head bolts. They take the full force of the steering and will come loose over time. If you think not pumping your brakes after a break job scares ya, wait till your going down the road and your steering wheeel comes off!!! Will put a new meaning to scared sh!tless!
Hello I just sub to your channel I have a 95 Chevy Astro van that is not getting any charge to the battery from the alternator, when I use my multimeter the alternator reads 12 volts with engine off I have replaced the starter because it was acting up but I can't seem to find out why my brand new alternator is not charging my battery
What does it read when running? If not around 13.5 you may have corrosion between battery terminal and alternator. 2 check your main fusible link from alternator that connects to battery or starter. 3 loose conection or rotten ground. Get a wiring scematic from manual or online if you re having a hard time finding what wires you are looking for.
Are you still doing the dealership life? I done it 10 years medium & heavy truck and then started my own business. Missed the cleanliness of the dealership but don't miss the pay at all...
Prob make more money. I did that a while to. I honestly think you learn more in an independent shop. Get to work on more of a variety of things. Learn different tricks you cant use in dealerships...

Always leave that large nut in place when you yank on the wheel. I had one really tough one that popped of an smacked me in the mouth and broke a tooth. Same reason to wear a seat belt. Teeth and steering wheels have an attraction.
