Friday afternoon rip on the Pan Am. We find rocks, mud, more rocks and even some single track!
dude, you are nuts! What has that poor bike ever done to you to deserve that? 😆 Amazing and Awesome off-road skills!👍
Haha thanks! And I blame the Pan Am, it just keeps finding me more and more trails to explore!
Did you ever come up with a crash bar setup to avoid that happening again?
Unfortunately I did not, just trying to crash less!
What tires do you run? Also what settings? Guessing off road custom.but what specs
It’s just in regular offroad+ mode. And I think the tires at the time were Hiedenau K60 rangers, I liked them a lot! Currently running Mitas XT enduros and they are not performing like I was expecting them to
I'll ride circles around that garbage on the trails with my old DR650
Thanks for watching!
i love my dyna but im thinking about buying a pan am, i want to have some fun in the dirt and my poor dyna cant take it anymore 😂
A dirt dyna build would be pretty rad!!
Great video! I’ve watched a couple with guys riding in the aftermath of the hurricane. Really good stuff!
Thanks! It’s amazing how powerful mother nature can be!
Good vid. One of the better vids of a casual ride that I've seen. just the right mix.
Thanks!! It was a really fun time hanging with this crew!
I was wondering if you were recording when you stopped to help me with my ktm 950
Nah, wish I would have gotten that 950 ripping though! I could listen to that soundtrack all day!
Yeah this cat is not a joking matter either. He can ride man.
👍👍 thanks again for the kind words!!
I'm thinking this guy is A Level rider. I salute you sir.
Thanks!! Definitely not A class though. I’m a mid pack goon in the local C class harescrambles 😂
This dude is a good rider man. Reflect on this truth.
Why thank ya!!
Wow. Just wow.
Appreciate it!!
Gotta hand it to ya, you got some balls.
Haha thanks!!

Great video. And as always, a great time with great people!
Absolutely!!
My biggest fear is getting stuck off-roading and not being able to get the bike back
I think part of me wants to get stuck! That way I can’t make it back to reality 😂
I gotta be honest, I don't wanna help the guys that wrestle those "adventure" bikes through. You shouldn't bring them to this kind of thing but if you do, then it's your burden. I ride dual sports cause I know better and DON'T wanna deal with that crap on a bike, sure as hell don't wanna get sucked into someone else's poor purchase. Whose idea of a good time is that???🤷
I’m sure all the riders in this video beg to differ. It’s a blast of a time!!!
@@gregatized weird bunch cuz, I'm out there to ride bikes, not drag them through.🤷
I cried after watching this
😂 sorry!! I hate doing that to people!
Did you gear down the front sprocket ?
Nope, it’s stock gearing. Does fairly well!
Incredible riding … but really, not what the Pan Am was intended for and not at all the right bike for those trails.
Haha thanks! And the challenge of big bikes on little bike trails is so much fun!
Btw. Which Model version is it? 23/ 24? or earlier?
It’s a 2022 model, Special trim without the adaptive ride height
@@gregatizedvery interesting. Ever had any issues with starter or low battery? Just the bike did show some love battery warning. In addition so you charge any devices while driving? 🙏 (sorry I'm in deep analysis of some issue on mine )
@@mikeontour_officialIt did have the weird dying starter for the first 18,000 miles or so, zero issues after that. A second push of the button usually got it fired up. I’ve heard there is no compression release and the starter isn’t strong enough. I use the usb port for a phone and use heated jacket and pants with no issues. I did kill it once trying to air up tires from the stock tender port though. Bike has to be off to pull power from it… Still stock battery!
The like definitely for the donuts and the wheely 🤘🎸
Haha thanks! I definitely need more wheelie practice
@@gregatized man , that looked just fantastic 👌👍🙏🙏 I guess it was the first on a PanAm ever seen (from my side)
Man I’m glued to this screen in amazement on your skills on that dirt glide! Definitely subscribed..when people ask what bike I’m getting I’m sending this video to them!
Haha thanks!! They are amazing bikes, absolutely love mine!!
This is impressive..it’s like he intentionally searches for the toughest possible tracks and off he goes..great content!
Thank ya! It’s a blast finding the tight stuff
@@gregatized it’s nerve racking watching you nearly miss trees bro! But you’re going hard and it’s appreciated..👊🏽
@@oldhead_gotta keep that adrenaline going! It’s addicting!
Damn good riding!
Thanks!!
Jesus dude, just buy a dirt bike. A YZF or a CRF. Adventure bikes weren’t made for this shit. Sort it out.
😂 I have dirt bikes for the hard stuff and race days. I just prefer to ride big, lift big and live big!! 💪
@@gregatized then you should be riding a Yamaha Super Tenere ES. For those that lift big, that’s the biggest bike. Unless of course you only lift a little……..
@@davebevinNah…. The Harley can haul more cheeseburgers
Kudos! I'm a new member there hitting Burma twice now on a Husky 701 Enduro. Mucho repect to you throwing that bike around!!! After watching the whole video, dam, that's some riding on a big bike. Amen!!!
Thanks!! Burma has some awesome single track! There’s so many awesome places to ride around there
That’s some impressive clutch work !
Haha thanks, got plenty of practice from riding a high strung 450 for years
Is there a way to get ahold of you?
Awesome review! Bought myself a 2024 after having had a few traditional Harleys. I LOVE this bike. I see in a short clip you are doing a wheelie, which I want to actively avoid. lol. If I do a launch to dick around with friends in an impromptu drag race, will the traction control keep the front tire completely on the ground or does it bring it up a little bit like the BMW's do?
Thanks! I don’t think I’ve ever had the front end lift on this bike without purposely trying. Pretty sure the long wheelbase helps with that. I can tell you traction control kills the party very quickly though! I’ve tried popping wheelies with it on and it immediately slams the front end back down
Just got a 2024 sold my 2023 lowrider st for it. The panamerica is the best bike i ever rode
Congrats on the new bike!! They are amazing machines!
@gregatized Thank you I love it.
You are strong you picked the bike up like nothing
Haha you kinda figure out the techniques when you drop it as much as I do!
Maybe the fact that I'm asking this question disqualifies me from hearing the answer, but any tips on learning to wheelie? 😅
I’m by no means qualified to give such advice but I watch the IRC Tire Guy wheelie how to’s on repeat haha!
@@gregatized Hey, I appreciate the redirect to an authority on the matter! 🤘
@@MadMathMikeAny time! I rely on horsepower and luck and that’s horrible advice to pass along! 😂
This is some crazy skill.
Haha it more often feels like luck!
Very cool to see you riding a Pan America at FRO . I ride at Burma at least once a week and I am getting a PA soon so it’s good to see what it can handle .
Burma has some wicked single track! I save that stuff for the 350 lol. Enjoy the pan am when you get it! I love mine!!
holy crap! you're beating the crap out of that bike! haha
Haha good thing the bike enjoys it!!!
Serious sweat getting through that!
It’s a heck of a workout!!
You always make me feel like I'm a pure wuss riding my PA off road. You laugh when you fall over .. I get sad or mad... Love your videos
Haha thanks! The falling is all part of the fun! It’s too much fun finding your limit!
Does the 1250 motor have enough power to go through the woods and terrain? Do you think Harley should add a few more cc's to the motor? Too bad there wasn't a way to have front wheel drive as well.
It has more than enough power! I use about 10% of the available 150hp in the woods lol. But 2wd would make this 500+lb bike a beast!!
"I paid for an offroad bike. I'm going offroad!"
Exactly!!
This dude rips! What mode you using? Offroad? Offroad+?
Thanks! I use offroad+ for the stiffer suspension. It’s easy to bottom the bike out in regular offroad mode
Good to know. I havnt tried offroad+ yet, but im also no where near as good a rider yet.
You’ll get there in no time! Just get out and have fun!!
Wow … not what the Pan Am is intended for, but damn you did it
It’s easy to get carried away on this thing!
Way to ride man!
Thanks!!
Rode my Pan Am down a gravel driveway the other day, was feeling pretty rugged . Then I clicked on this video.
😂
Man that is so cool what this bike is capable of doing. I bought a 22 with 54 miles on it at my local Harley dealership. I can’t see myself beating up my Pan America like that. I bought the PAS to tour and handle the rough roads in my city. I would get beat up on my cruiser HD. The Pan eats it up lol. I’ll take unpaved and gravel roads and maybe some non-violent trails. But on single trails I use my 21 XR650L. With 13” ground clearance and 11.5” of travel front and rear it can clear a lot. But Ol’ Red is a pig 🐽 that can be handled. Good work man and that PAS is a beast.
Congrats on the new bike! You will love it! Those big red pigs are also amazing machines in their own right!!
I will allways be amazed at the places you take that pan am
Gotta get you on one of these bad boys!!
@gregatized not gona lie they have been growing on me. Mid may I will be at TMMR and will have the opportunity to ride them offroad for a good bit of time, that will make or break it for me
You have that big girl up 500 hill yet?
I have not! Never been able to find it! However 540lbs and 150hp tend to just sink… But I’d still give it the ol’ college try
@@gregatized which group on FB did you share this video too? I'm in one with you but cannot recall which?
@@BillMcPoyleI don’t have a Facebook account, I have an instagram though. Handle @squirrelrocket
@@gregatized someone must have shared your video on the Facebook then. You got a good follower somewhere.
@@BillMcPoyleHaha nice!!
Those boulders at 1:20 have caught me off guard on the Tenere a couple times.
I’ve dumped my old Versys there a time or two as well!

Thanks! Plenty of awesome trails at FRO, let me know if you need a tour guide!
