I have to admit in 50 years of riding motorcyles on and off road never thought of packing a tow strap. I learned something new already in 2024. wanting to get into ADV riding now.
Adventure riding is a blast!! And that tow strap has put in the work. I use it on about 50% of my off road trips haha. It’s just and old ratchet strap with the hook cut off and ends sewn up with some paracord innards
good gawd man, you guys are a hoot to watch, someone at HD better take notice and pay you for torture testing that bike lol or atleast ask your input on what needs changed....cheers!
I’ve put over 35,000 miles on the bike and it has yet to leave me stranded! It has a few quirks but it runs great! It’s been from Maine, to Key West, to Alaska and I’ve loved every mile!
@@Saint_Maximus_IIIEvery 5,000 miles. Oil changes are super easy but the air filter is time consuming the first time or two. I can zip through it now after learning the process
yall should spend some of that HD money on a cheap duel sport to beat up on and keep the pan america for touring and dirt roads. i could never beat up an expensive bike like this
I gotta be honest, I don't wanna help the guys that wrestle those "adventure" bikes through. You shouldn't bring them to this kind of thing but if you do, then it's your burden. I ride dual sports cause I know better and DON'T wanna deal with that crap on a bike, sure as hell don't wanna get sucked into someone else's poor purchase. Whose idea of a good time is that???🤷
That looks both incredibly fun and incredibly exhausting. I’ve never seen anyone ride a Pan Am in heavily mudded trails like that!!
It definitely was a fun way to get some strenuous exercise in!
Great effort boys. Certainly proving the Pan America can keep up!
Thanks! Definitely took a team effort but that’s what this type of ride is all about!
Great video again! Love being able to rewatch and relive it again!
Only 10 more months until RRS 2024!!
Wow, you guys talked about this at camp but that soup is CRAZY. Blown away by how you guys got through there👏
It was hard work but a blast! Your crf would have loved it!!

Serious sweat getting through that!
It’s a heck of a workout!!
3:25 I definitely heard him ask you to find his beer down in there!
😂 Beers were definitely deserved after that ride!!
That was some mud.. good riding and curious about the tires you were running. Seemed to do well for a big bike. Great video!!
Thanks!! And yeah that Kentucky clay is no joke! Running an anakee wild up front and a Heidenau K60 Ranger in the rear on the Pan Am

Haha thanks! The RRS is probably one of the raddest events around! So much fun!
Wow, this is what happens when a bunch of guys get together on Friday night drinking and make plans for the weekend. Lol
Hahaha it sure feels that way sometimes!!
Top
Ryan and I have a thing for misjudging puddles😂
Haha, just gotta dive right into it!!
Your input on a middle weight PanAm should be high on HD's list.
I sure am hoping that one will come out!!
How reliable is the Pan Am so far becasue ive heard legends of it not being reliable

Off-road plus for the stiffer suspension. And tires are an anakee wild front and heidenau k60 ranger rear

and for god sakes get the right tires
What part of Kentucky is this in ?
Beattyville. Check out RedRiverScramble.com it’s an event at the end of September. It’s so much fun!!
Nope, not taking my Buell on that lol
Haha maybe it’ll be dry next year!!
And I thought deep sand in Florida was bad...
Sand is a completely different animal! It’s just a little hard to find in Appalachia lol
the whole video is yall getting stuck
Easy trails and not getting stuck is boring!

I’m sure all the riders in this video beg to differ. It’s a blast of a time!!!
@@gregatized weird bunch cuz, I'm out there to ride bikes, not drag them through.🤷
