I like the sound of a Roudy but I prefer the PanAm style. Make it look like the Bronx of HD ever produced it.

I drilled holes in the baffle tubes just inside. Sounds much better till I rebuild my exhaust. Gonna be PanAm headers and a shorty slip on. 😊

Without … always… baffle saves a fine round my way….. sad times. My pal says if you remove the baffle out and don’t let the engine re adjust itself, you might do more harm in the long run. I rode with no baffles in my 883 from new, did 30k miles no problem lol. The guy who purchased it from me had to have the engine rebuilt for some reason. Guess I ragged the hell out of it playing music with my exhaust all the time in the city with stop/start traffic 😂🤣

Any problems with the heat of the exhaust so close to the bag on the right? (I got the Jekyll & Hyde exhaust) And can you still take a passenger with you (+ passenger pegs)?

I use this kit too. Unfortunately it has a major issue that it is missing the plate light (required by law in most states). On top of that the break light does look cheap, it would be nice if it was a series of LEDs, more modern looking. Just a couple points to think about if you are considering buying this kit. Price is okay.

I have that bike with that exaust. Is it hard to put the baffle back on? And will that affect the bike negatively?

I bought bigger bags (the 30L ones) and i want to put them on but I'm scared securing the flap around the rack running that close to the exhaust! Have you had any problems with them melting at all? I thought about securing them up over the top track that i have but I think it would look cleaner the other way i just don't want to melt the material and ruin them...

Have you had any problems with starting issues or random check engine lights?

I don't like the license plate on the side at all! Could be nice ankle biter too. Also no mention of a license plate light at all either, I would try to mount plate right under the tail light turm signal unit also some how. IMHO>

if i had a new sportster s id make it as quiet as possible all the time, they simply soundly terrible no matter what exhaust is put on them. worst sounding engine I have ever heard, such a shame for such a sharp lookin and bad ass bike.
