When my dad was killed in Viet Nam, they sent a very young soldier to the high school where my mom was teaching to tell her. She met the young soldier at the door of her class and the bell rang. All of the high school students were in the hall and it was total chaos. Sounds like not much has changed in how families are informed of things happening in a war zone.

Self harming can often be a cry for help it certainly gets attention and definitely should as you need help and for people to listen to you. When you said in your teens you were fully in, that's not going to be your best time, more like your worst, why? Because when we are fully in doing what we should, we attract the attention of the devil who wants to tear us down, he hates people who are doing everything they are suppose to do! Remember Satan is the God of this world, it's why Christ was murdered Joseph Smith and every other good person suffers. Abraham Lincoln assainated for putting an end to the slave trade etc. Yes we strive to be good but Christ knowing our weaknesses has given us repentance so we can repent and over a period of years and endure to the end doing so will get into the mellenium. Then Satan will be bound, and life will be alot easier. Ether 12:27-28 27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them. I know it seems unfair to be given weaknesses, but He say's that he will make weak things strong. We have to ask for that strength because of free will he cannot just butt in. Philippians 4:13 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. No one perfectly follows those rules it's why we have repentance, don't be to hard on yourself sweetie! Some people who were born LDS never seem to ask God for themselves it's the only way to know as 44,000 different Christian sects if it were just 44 how difficult that would be to find the real one. If you had to hide the tree of life from people where would you hide it? In the desert? Or in the Amazon jungle amongst billions of other trees. Satan wants to hide truth this is why so many religions are currently on the earth. Our own moral compass varys in each individual to some it's ok to rape, kill children, abuse children and even sex traffic them. To live with God we have to see eye to eye as Christ said we might be one with him as he is one with the Father. John 17:21 therefore if we agree no more wars as they come through arguments, disagreement, greed etc. Before and after I joined the church I had out of body experiences so yes your mum is still very much alive. We cannot judge each other as we are all sinners in some way. Without love we would be a total loss, The saviour said. John 13 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Think on this as a guide to life. What thing would you do if you loved people? What thing would you not do if you loved people it's that simple. Your doing a great job looking after yourself physically you have lovely skin and beautiful if you don't mind me saying. Think of it no one should ever tell you what you should do we come here with agency and choose for ourselves what makes us happy, we can give advice, encourage and even persuade but never force. Nobody cares what people do, but God wants you to become like him part of the blessings of eternity is is to have a continuation of seed. Two men or two women cannot create life therefore in the eternities they are denying themselves that blessing, through a choice they made. If they are happy with those consequences then fine. Both the world and the church has it's ways and when you live both like me you have a contrast and know what's best for you. Here's the thing what dose the world offer you outside of mortality? Nothing, always worth remembering. What is our Heavenly Father trying to raise? Gods and Goddess kings and queens, something far beyond what we currently are. So morally difficult. Every path leads to a destination our agency ends once we choose our destination. Good luck in your search for happiness, but remember the church doors are always open and people cannot wander to a place they cannot be found! Keep this in mind, Christ has proved his love for us all by what he done. By their fruits ye shall know them!
