I'll think of something interesting to say here at some point, no doubt.
The Music of The Goonies, Pt 1

The Music of Back to the Future, Pt 2, The Clocktower
มุมมอง 79K14 ปีที่แล้ว
1. It's Been Educational / Clocktower I realize that the title is potentially confusing. Suffice it to say this epic cue is from the original, classic 'Back to the Future,' not its sequel. I think it's really something the way certain movies (and their scores) can become so engrained in our minds. I can listen to this entire thing and picture exactly what accompanied each moment on screen when ...

The Music of Innerspace, Pt 1
มุมมอง 33K14 ปีที่แล้ว
One of the most interesting things about Jerry's Goldsmith's score to Innerspace is that it's just so damn majestic and beautiful. I mean, here we have a movie that is practically a modern-day Jerry Lewis buddy comedy, and throughout it all is woven this epic musical thread. If one analyzes Innerspace's plot, it seems fairly small and insulated, especially when compared to its 80's sci-fi conte...

1. Escape and Chase 2. The Leap for Freedom 3. End Title 4. "Love Came for Me" (Solo Sax Version) Neither the "End TItle" nor the sax version of "Love Came for Me" appear in the film. But I thought it would be nice to revisit the main theme again before concluding these vids. I decided not to include the pop version of "Love Came for Me" as heard in the film's closing credits because others hav...

1. Overture 2. The Search Here I was thinking I would astound and delight with my modest yet varied soundtrack collection. However, I've discovered that if a soundtrack exists, chances are someone has already uploaded portions of it to TH-cam. Gattaca? Already there. Ravenous? Check. Ever After? Of course. Well, at least it seems no one has posted any of Carter Burwell's wonderful score to a mo...

The Music of Big (1988), Pt 2

Featuring the poignant "love theme" from the film. 1. Goodbye 2. End Titles (Heart and Soul) This may sound sacrilegious, but I actually think Shore's work on 'Big' is even better than his stuff for 'Lord of the Rings.'

I think that some moments (the first theme) could sound a bit like the score that Jerry would have done for The Thing if he was available then for Universal - at this time he was busy on Poltergeist score.

So brilliant music missed in the early soundtrack
yo are you still alive?
No animal should be used as entertainment stuff especially not primates because it includes so much suffering and pain for these magnificent animals
4:46 and 6:27...my favorite parts
"I'm in a man. I'll be a son of a bitch I'm in a strange man, surrounded by strangers in a strange room!"
Capricorn 1. The Omen 1&2 Ransom (1975) The Mummy. Just too many to mention... hundreds from Movies and TV. Legend. RIP.
🙄💘💕🩷🤕
The melodic love theme is extremely pretty and sweet. The sadness in some parts is soul pulling. I was 16 when I watched the movie, developed a massive crush on the character Madison and spent years trying to find the song Love Came for Me sung by Rita Coolidge that believe it or not officially has never still been released as this cd and another are promotional recordings. You could buy the lp record but it didn't have that song on it. However, you would be aware the other promo which is on TH-cam has four or five instrumental versions of the song - all of them beautiful. I was recently chatting via email to Lee Holdridge the composer who told me he wrote an epic musical ending for the film, but that Disney wanted an actual sung song. It certainly is a soundtrack for the true romantic as opposed to the gushy romance novel troupe. I love it and think Mr. Holdridge a genius.
My favorite Tom Hanks movie hands down.

Poster is an antisemite.
Do you have part 1 as well?
Unfortunately, I believe it was taken down a long time ago.
Any chance you can post it again?
@@WastedPoany chance it could be re-uploaded?
@@deshonwashington5669 - I think maybe it wouldn't be worth the risk. Since I posted them originally (an eternity ago), YT's attitude towards posting copyrighted music has changed drastically.
@@WastedPo completely understand!! Thank you!
Omg thank you ,this score is amazing ,the movie is amazing and both are criminally underated
This brings a tear to my eye with fond memories seeing this film and the context of the film. Tom Hanks is an amazing actor and perfect for this film. One of my all time favourites and the music just pulls at my heart strings. I always go to the Zoltar on the pier at Llandudno in Wales and oddly enough the cards are true to me. Xxxx
A good movie, elevated even further by it's great score. I miss the early '90s.
brilliant tune!

I want to kill everyone. Satan is good. Satan is our pal.
I've always loved the music from where Jack and Lydia kiss. Very beautiful! 4:45
How is it that this music has a way of speaking to you and making you feel like you can do anything?
It's amazing. It transforms what is essentially just a silly comedy into something grand and magical.
@@WastedPo It certainly is magical!

I disagree with Erin lightyear is not a stupid cartoon
animation is not just for kids
I love this movie and music does anybody know where I can find a CD of this
The CD I have was originally a limited edition, so you probably couldn't get one at a reasonable price. However, it looks like the same tracks are available as mp3 downloads on Amazon.
@@WastedPo thank you
Must have seen this a dozen times. To this day I remember the end soundtrack. 6:00 to 8:00.
miss that movie have to love for it and that other one Manhattan project
Virtual is my favorite chimpanzee on Project X. The reason is because my grandfather's name is Willie. I teased him sometimes I'll tell him is your name Willie or Virgil
Yeah definitely one of the scariest movies I've seen
Jesus that radiation machine coming up out of the floor scared the shit out of me. With the piano music and flutes
