    I loved seeing you do your French seams. I've always made them so complicated for myself for some strange reason! You worked them so quickly. Thanks.

      I did the same thing for so long! Marking my stitch lines and using the seam guide on my machine have made them a lot less intimidating.

I sort of assumed that you had like 100k subscribers already when I found you!     What’s the benefit of a mock French seam vs a French seam?

      It's a good starter seam if you're worried about trimming your excess seam allowance. I like it in this case because I can do all of my fitting and adjusting and then go back and finish my seams. French seams can look cleaner and I prefer them for sheer fabrics. I think it mostly comes down to a preference of construction. Although, I've read the mock french seam is easier to do on curves but I haven't tested that.
