Hey there. 2023 here. Great video and some great throws. 55 yr. Old here, I still throw XL's when I can find them. Trying out the Mantis now. Both are great discs for slower arms and small hands. Thanks for the video from the past! Peace

this FD mold became the innova Hawkeye. the new FD that replaces it is a bit different (without the turn) but reportedly just as good at distance.

Great video. I have bagged a Pro-D Zone, Z Buzzzz, ESP Meteor combination for over 12 years and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Have you found a bag or something to help with transporting?

I don't understand all the hype around the Buzzz, as it's not hard to find a disc with same flight but more glide, such as Manta|Tursas|BB6, and compared to the Z-Buzzz; Truth|Skeeter|M4|Element|Origin.

I couldn't agree more! I just put this in the bag and have been using it as an approach disc. I don't have a forehand so when I need to go right I reach for the Sol.

Does discraft still make the predator. My all time favorite driver is the predator in FLX plastic. Doesn't seem to be in print

About to go test out the thumb trick at Hollows in NH... haven’t been throwing many hyzer flips because of my inconsistency with them(fairly new player). Thankfully throw discraft. Thanks a lot!

People have said this is more of a tweener between putter and mid, but I'm not sure at my skill level I'd be able to tell a difference. Do you notice a distance difference between this disc and some of the other Discraft mids? Also has this taken the place of anything else in your bag like the Meteor?

How has the bag done sitting on a hill as far as tipping. I’ve read that it can be a little tippy with the putters up top(or can it fit other size discs too)?and can you reach over your head and grab and put back a putter? It would be nice to do when you have a tap in birdie( or basically less than a 10 footer) ☺️.

VERY nice review. From what I can tell, you don't have alot of subs yet and seem like a fairly new reviewer and not a touring pro selling wares (nothing wrong with that either.) I am about to browse your vids and find out for sure but this is my style of review and you weren't just hitting bombs, you took the time to throw diff types of shots with diff winds and similar discs and great commentary about your thoughts. I have to sub and hope for more! Btw, I have always had a Buzz, Meteor and recently have had a Buzzz SS in my bag but never a comet and wondered what that would be like and now I know. I also think I am going to re-invest in a meteor after this video. One feedback, I checked your information and you link to see if you offer a link to someone like infinite discs, disc golf unlimited, Sun King or Marshall Street etc and you don't. I think if you are going to do great content like this, you should consider if they will offer you anything for linking folks to them

Nice video, I throw Innova fairways and Discraft mids. Was thinking of cycling a few of these in as I lose or misplace the fairways. I've liked the Stalker quite a bit too.

I know it was an ad, but sun king discs is actually great. I'm always trying to promote companies other than infinite discs because I don't want the options to go away and a monopoly is never good for an industry. Also I just had a great experience with them. Thanks for the review! I'm thinking of getting a Meteor but I wanted to check this disc out first.

Found this video after seeing the special editions XLs that were released today. Trying to decide whether or not to give one a try. I think you've sold me on it, even though this video was primarily intended to showcase the Mantis.

Why would you have three Z plastics and one Big Z?! Different plastics are a major factor. Plastics affect the flight of the disc.

I love the Sol. I bag a ace race esp currently. The ace race has better grip imo and will stick where it hits. I agree with what was said in the review but I would also add that it's great forehand anny disc as well. Not a shot you'll use a ton but when your in the woods and need to get out of trouble it's a valuable shot to have. Just a said note. I think even players who have big arms could and should try this disc. It will open up a ton more lines. Just look at double G he has one of the biggest arms on tour and bags us discs like the Sonic and wombat3.

Hyzer flip machine! This disc is great. I have the photo version, but have ordered some newer HD and platinum versions.

It's a beautiful disc but...shouldn't pure white be...not swirly?! First disc given to me was a Wizard and there is a reason it's the flagship mold for Gateway. Such a solid disc for spin putts and shots off the tee.

Got some seriously gorgeous glide and turn from this mold, WOW!
