Die große Schwester von der Amadea, der ehemaligen Asuka. Die Amadea hat die japanische Schriftzeichen im Immern montiert bekommen. Dort wird heute das Foto zusammen mit dem Kreuzfahrtdirektor und den Gästen gemacht

Diese Bug-Form wird X-Bow genannt und soll erstens zu einem geringeren Treibstoffverbrauch führen und zweitens die Schlingerbewegungen deutlich verringern.

Basically you are right, but I guess, it takes only around 1 or 2 hours to pass the tunnel, don't you think so?

In the beginning I thought the same, but I found out it is indeed the Moldefjord. There is at least another fjord with the same name in Norway, which may cause some confusion.

We were just at this spot today. The Disney experience is well under construction. While I appreciate the need for jobs on Eleuthra, man o man could they not have found a different spot. This is one of the nicest spots that I have seen. If you're on Eleuthra go there. Now. Before they are bringing in the many people that are sure to come.
Well said. I visited before construction and it was just a natural site to behold, undistrubed mangroves, birds and the rocks terrain. The cove beach was beautiful, I'd never seen anything like that. A jeep was parked by the area leading to the beach and luggage was on the back. So glad I visited before it became a tourist trap.
Wegen so einem Wahnsinn, hat man unsere schöne Ems kaputt gemacht!!! Kommt jetzt nicht mit den Arbeitsplätzen auf der Werft! Es sind fast keine Deutschen Arbeitskräfte mehr da!!?
Well, when I look at the yard's employee car park, most of the numberplates I see are German. And have a look to the city of Papenburg: it's a lively city with many shops, restaurants etc. All these jobs you need to count in addition. Anyway you are right: The yard needs to take care of the nature along the river.

24 Years old... she's doing well. We just booked Sirena for September 2025, our first ever Oceania - something to look forward to. This will be the smallest cruise ship we've sailed... I know the bathrooms are tiny on this R class former Princess ship... be fun to sit on the toilet, wash our feet in the shower, and brush our teeth all at the same time. (We scored an aft balcony C1 while they were on sale.)
Hope, you will enjoy the cruise! Once you are on board, she doesn't seem so small. ;-)

How can I meet people now sailing this ship? I am an avid cruiser with over 30 cruises behind. My cruise experience has been on Seabourn,Carnival, Norwegian, etc. My fondest wish is to spend several yrs sailing the globe. THE WORLD seems to figured out how to stay at sea with paying passengers forever. I don’t want to buy a unit forever just for 1 yr at a time. I could live at sea. My longest cruise is 45 days. I wanted more. I love the motionless feel on the ocean, watching the waters go by, listening to the waters rushing by. I love the ‘being taken care of feeling’. I love the people that sail and the crews. As 72, retired and ready for adventure.
