CARNIVAL FIRENZE Naming Ceremony

The Vista class cruise ship CARNIVAL FIRENZE (IMO 9801691) was christened in Long Beach on April 24th. Godfather was the actor Jonathan Bennett. During the event he was made an honorary Italian. Carnival Cruise Line's President Christine Duffy also joined the party. CARNIVAL FIRENZE’s baseport currently is Long Beach, from where she started her maiden voyage for Carnival Cruise Line on April 25th.
The cruise liner was built in 2019/2020 as COSTA FIRENZE at Fincantieri in Monfalcone, Italy, for Costa Cruises. She is 323 meters long and has a gross tonnage of 135,156.
