DISNEY DESTINY Keel Laying Ceremony

On March 20, 2024, the keel laying of DISNEY DESTINY was celebrated on the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. She will be the third Triton class ship for Disney Cruise Line - after the DISNEY WISH and the DISNEY TREASURE, which is currently under construction.
As Disney Cruise Line announced during the keel laying ceremony, the design theme of DISNEY DESTINY will be “Heroes and Villains,” inspired by Disney stories, characters and theme park attractions. On board, guests will encounter heroes and villains alike, including those from Walt Disney Animation Studios stories such as “The Lion King,” “Hercules” and “101 Dalmatians.”
Disney Cruise Line also revealed the new artwork for the bow of the DISNEY DESTINY with Minnie Mouse as the central figure.
Delivery of the DISNEY DESTINY is scheduled for 2025.
