Primarily segmented wood turning bowls with occasional other types of wood work.
Gold and Purple Bowl
This bowl was made with purple heart, cherry, maple hard woods and also resin. The process began with pouring 1" thick and 7" round form of purple and white resin. The wood and blocks were then cut into different widths and lengths based on the needs of the project. The strips were then cut into segments. Rings of different segments were then made and ran through a drum sander. Following this the rings were glued together in the appropriate formation making the bowl. Then the fun starts turning the bowl on the lathe.
This bowl and many others can be seen and purchased on my Etsy Shop.

2 large, segmented bowl made of mahogany hard woods. The bowls took about 10 hours total to make. This included cutting 3/4-inch strips at the various widths, cutting 24 segmented pieces per ring, gluing of the rings and then sanding the rings in the drum sander. The rings where then glued together to make the rough bowl. The final steps were turning the bowls and finishing. These bowls were ma...

This bowl was made from a Florida Live Oak tree. The tree was cut into firewood size pieces and left on the side of the road. Florida Live Oak wood can be a challenge to turn due to its denseness. None the less it is always worth it demonstrated by the beauty of the grain when it is all done. I didn't find any live bugs this time but the reminisce of them can be found all around the rim of the ...

A quick tip before you rotate the cutter market with a marker. It helps me to remember which ones are sharp and which ones I used
Nice looking bowl.
They look beautiful. Nice wook.
Nice work Jeff
Hey Jeff!! I am just in awe of your work!!! Thank you for sharing this video of “my bowl!”
More like you should move onto proper technique done by proper turners like: Richard Raffan, Nick Cook, Stuart Batty, Ashley Harwood, Glenn Lucas.
I am not sure why you made this comment but if you mean that the mentioned turners have never had a bowl get away from them then that is not true. If you are taking about my turning style, then what can I say. Please tell me why you made this statement so I can understand instead of guessing.
Great work
I appreciate it!
Amazing artistry Jeff! How you hold and mold bowl beauty with all those cutting tools and still melodically play guitar is truly a gift! Be careful!!
That looks very nice
Thank you!
Oh that is pretty! ❤
Me or the bowl? lol

Thank you Sis
Wow that's actually beautiful, awesome talent.
Thank you very much!
Wonderful bowl. Do you have a video showing the glue up process?
I do! Look for the double bowls video I put out on July 21. It is kind of long but it show the glue up process.
for help reaching a larger audience, i would mute the sped up sounds of the machine and maybe add some music to the time lapse. great bowl!
Thank you for watching and the advice. I would love to add music and have considered it, music is expensive to add to TH-cam videos as you have to pay a company for permission to use music as an option. Maybe in the future I will be able to include music.
I figured out how to get music and I am starting to use it on current videos. Thank you for your advice again.
get a longer handle for tool rest
That is a good idea. I will look at that. Thank you!
Looks good!
I'm having fun with it!
Thank You
