Sciron Quest worked for me. As you approach the hill, Sciron engaged me. At a certain point he lost his helmet and went back. Instead of running into his base I still fought at the entrance hill and killed of the bandit archers at the sides. He fulle resetted so to say. I then entered his camp and fought him along his bandits making sure to kill his allies first, cause I thought killing him before them could mess this up. After all other bandits in the camp were dead, I killed him, which progressed the quest to talk to the guy in Corinth again. I think what brakes it for you and other is the fact that you run into the base, whereas it was programmed him to leave his base as soon as the player approches it. Thus breaking the reset mechanic in the second phase. tldr: approach camp carefully, let him come out, wait for him to fully reset into his camp. Then kill him. Ps: thank you so much for this series! <3 Edit: 10:58 is where I think he should`ve reset.

Do you by any chance use controller? I spent hours on this boss and kept dying each time (I was on easy mode embarrassingly enough 😂) and even with two or three friends I still kept getting killed. i hear great things about Neidan and coming back to the game wanted to try Neidan-Rune but using a Neidan skill which name i do not now remember consistently crashes the game. Deleted that character, but what am i doing wrong how can people paly with neidan? I only play on xmax, but i did try using that combo on the unmoded game only to find that it is consistent.

Note: the Rogue "- damage from/+ damage to Constructs DOES have a unique, valuable use. Hardcore. The East. The Ascent map. Character = Corsair (defence + rogue). All curses active. There are packs of aggressive Constructs,, all elite (? their name is in yellow) in an easy to follow loop. 7-8 minutes per loop. Approximately 120,000 Electrum per loop. TH-cam: electrum farming. There is a short video describing the matter.

Hm, not sure I agree with the Earth placement. I have several issues with the mastery. For one, the healing spell makes you immobile for a short amount of time. If the enemy isn't dead by the time the absorption wears off, you're in trouble again right away. Second, the split between fire and physical is problematic from a %damage scaling point of view. Melee needs several work arounds with secondary masteries and / or Flame Surge to work because the mastery doesn't have any passive OA/DA. The meteor skill isn't targetable and will often hit walls, trees, or anything besides the enemy really. This makes it useless as a physical nuke spell. And lastly, its energy costs are way too high for what the mastery offers, especially the Ring of Flame aura. This is also a problem with the Rune mastery but here it's even more pronounced.

I did several regular hardcore / selffound runs over the years. Still an exhilarating experience as this game is definitely not forgiving! Did it with Spirit / Dream (phyiscal/vitality, melee), Runes / Defense (elemental, melee), and just now Spirit / Storm (cold / lightning, ranged). Overall, good video. Many good points touched upon. Basically you can categorize 3 main points: class selection, itemization and monster knowledge. Class selection - both masteries need to complement each other and negate the weaknesses of the other. Itemization, find things to not die and do enough damage yourself. Monster knowledge: which enemies can oneshot you? I would like to add a few things to your video: In addition to vitality resistance, stack up some poison resistance and try to max pierce resistance. Archers are the single most dangerous mob type, that doubly goes for Grand Archers in Hades, and poison is a very common element type to go against so it helps a lot having those. Late normal you probably also want to stack some stun resist, and possibly life and energy leech resists. The other ones are uncommon enough that they don't matter too much. Armor < Defensive Ability. While armor certainly helps, having completed an Oracle shotgunner run with a max armor of 320ish but an defensive ability of 1170 taught me it's better to not get crit by melee weapons if you get hit. Anything that cannot rely on Squall to reliably debuff enemy aim, you still want some tough armor however. Route progression: I like to farm Nessus until level 8, Tegea caves until lvl 11 and Megara until lvl 13 most of the time. It's usually when I can powerlevel to mastery lvl 32 and unlock whatever skill I need, for example Dream's Trance of Wrath which will easily carry until the end of act 2. Act 2, farm Sais until lvl 25 - 26, especially if you use mods like Xmax it'll drop a lot of good things there. Act 2 Telkine until lvl 30. Monotonous but again, potentially good rewards. Act 3, Great Wall waypoint to Chang'an has great gear than can be dropped for melee classes, including Exoctic MI shields from spiders - pair one with the Agais of Athene and you'll be set with resistances for a good while. Act 4, Soronis, if you can survive it. Great place to farm MIs with very high pierce resistance. Act 5, Heuneburg to Troll camp with Xmax has the highest monster density in the game, I think. Very dangerous but with how electrum farming works, a high level character running max xmax on normal difficulty with full curses will rack up hundreds of thousands of electrum in a very short time. These in turn can be spent at the beginning of legendary for some early Eternal Embers orbs and hopefully some juicy endgame drops (I got lucky and a got a Dream Whisperer staff that carried me through the endgame). Valhalla can be a decent farming spot for MIs. The mansion itself isn't too dangerous, contrary to the outside. Items: Find a Silver Heart artifact formula! I cannot stress how much easier this thing makes both Hades and Eternal Embers. As much of both acts deal with demon and undead enemy types, the flat 100 damage reduction against either will apply before anything else, so it's much, MUCH easier to survice against Machae or the endless undead in egypt. A Silver Heart + a lvl 6 spirit aura makes the undead in EE egypt do... maybe 5 damage per hit? It's a night and day difference and an absolute life saver. € There are two artifacts that have % life leech on them - Soul Shiver and Elemental Rage. Both are worth seeking out. Soul Shiver is available as early as act 2 normal and is a massive damage and survivability boost for most classes.

Im currently running a lvl 69 157%reflection dream-earth char. He is the strongest easiest ive had yet. Run in, press stone and everything oneshots itself.

@LughSamildanach For a Solo Self Found Hardcore no potions no shrines and no scrolls (only for artifacts) run through, I am deciding between warden and Juggernaught, for the warden i will farm the stone form gauntlets. What would you reccomend for that playthrough?

I have found through experimentation that certain masteries are easier to use for levelling up than others. In my opinion, the Strongest four are Nature, Storm, Rune, and Dream. Call of the Wild, Squall, Runic Mines, and Distortion Wave, together with skills that further increase their damage make them even better. The middle four in my opinion are Neidan, Earth, Warfare, and Rogue. The best skills to use for levelling up in those masteries are Dragon's Breath with Dragon's Flame, Shen Pao, Ring of Flame, Battle Standard, and Poison Gas Bomb, all together with the skills that increase their damage further. The weakest masteries in my opinion for levelling up are Defense, Hunting, and Spirit. The skills to use for levelling up with those are Batter with Rend Armor, Marksmanship with Wood Lore, and Liche King. In my opinion, you should always pick the stronger mastery first when making a character.

The biggest problem I find with the Rogue mastery is it's complete inability to face undead creatures. Rogue's damage rely on pierce, poison and bleed, three things undead are completely immune against. The moment you meet a bunch of skeletons, your dps drops to not even 1/3 of what it is against other targets.

I found for melee that a Champion with first-rate gear is best...between the Battle standard, plague, maxed-out wolves and 150 atk speed 12, 700 hp and 52% dmg resist. For a Shield, I d have to go with the Spellbinder...Colossus and Outsider either consecutive or as twins, as with Dark Covenant and Rally...went with a Ritualist for a Caster/Staff, Melee is just for fun ( Thyestes Scheme for Lethal Strike )Has 1800 armour, all 80s... Never cared for Hunting but that def ability and Herbal Remedy in addition-had fun with that, made a caster with insane dps ( no Ternion ) and would cast Vision Of Death then trap em. If you havent done it, do it. Thats the thing about Titan Quest yo7re only limited by your gear and yo7r math...so I made a Soothsayer. I wanted a line-working foreman-so...just as a goof, took that Nemean Lion set and ended up with damage resistance at 46% +4 to Spirit, + 3 to Nature with Cerberus Bite, Aionos ...and just steamrolled everything...( yes Aphrodites Favor ) ( Band Of Souls, Mark of Overlord ) and Final Breath for that +1 Spirit and 30 vitality dmg. resis. BONUS? 50% damage to Demons. Ended up with bleed +15 and vit dmg. res. +5. Over 1100 Defensive Ability and over 10, 000 HP...workin hard...!

Rune + Nature (Skinchanger) is my favourite combo. Nature helps a lot with energy cost reduction for the bubble (physical, bleed, pierce damage absorption) without relying so much on specific items. On top of all other benefits like extra 80% health, Refresh, Plague.

What SSF means?

I found that Night Blossom can be killed easily by every character. Just run around it in circles and use one scroll of the sky's rage. That will take care of it.

Why the ai voice?

The strongest possible character in this game is Champion (Warfare + Nature), i love him as dps but he can play with multiple play styles. Ritualist (Dream + Nature) is the easiest to do the no death achievement, even giving life steal to pets without gear in super hard core mode. This would make Nature the 1 unbeatable champ of this game and warfare is criminaly underrated. Personally i did my first 0 death with Defence + Spirit and i would say Spirit is also criminaly underated.
