DIY Shed Hack | Build a Shed with Electrical Conduit | Maker Pipe Tool Shed Build | Part 3
My back yard needed a shed. In stead of buying one off the shelf, or doing traditional wood framing, I wanted to take a risk and try something new. The Maker Pipe EMT connectors made this build super fun and fast. We made some design changes on the fly, and ended up with a great base for the siding we'll be putting up in the next part. Huge thanks to my camera operators: AJ and Kat.
Let me know what you think of this way of building, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

What's inside a Scout Camper? | Scout Olympic Truck Camper Interior Tour
มุมมอง 9K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
Everything you want to know about the inside of a Scout Olympic Truck Camper, and a few things maybe you didn't. If you're unfamiliar with Scout Campers, they are one of the coolest options for off-grid overland camping. We had been considering a camper van, a skoolie, or a roof top tent, but one day, by chance, while looking at a Winnebago Sprinter Van, the dealership we were at had a Scout Ke...
You can't buy a Scout Camper unless you do this first | How I prepped my F-150 for a Scout Olympic
มุมมอง 8K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
I recently purchased a Scout Olympic truck camper for my wife and I to go camping, exploring and overloading. We had been considering a camper van or a roof top tent, but, one day by chance, while looking at a Winnebago Sprinter Van, the dealership we were at had a Scout Kenai on the lot so we checked it out and fell in love with it. It's perfect for us. Plus, we already had a truck- a 2021 For...
Two Days in Glacier National Park- Travel Vlog | Going to the Sun | Avalanche Lake | Lake McDonald
มุมมอง 207ปีที่แล้ว
Going to the Sun Road didn't scare us at all. We spent 2 days exploring Glacier National Park and it was unforgettable. We went to Lake Mcdonald, St. Mary's Falls, Avalanche Lake and crossed the continental divide. We had an encounter with a woman in a parking lot, I tried trekking poles and we even saw a bear. Despite growing up in Montana, this was only my second time visiting Glacier. We can...
I built a rolling base for my MASSIVE old table saw | Baxter Whitney model 177 restoration

Every so often, you stumble across something special, and even tho its a completely insane thing to do, you gotta go for it. I have so much passion for vintage woodworking machinery, I just couldn't bear to see this rare beast be sent off to the scrap yard. This is a Baxter Whitney model 177 from around 1950, I will make a video going into more details about it soon, but for now enjoy this. #vi...

Awesome and funny video! Always wondered how to frame with emt conduit. Question... Instead of using the conduit straps, would it work to pre-drill pass through holes in the conduit. Then attach the 2x4's to the conduit with deck screws or even thin width bolts and nuts? More time required, I realize, to predrill the pass through holes in conduit, but perhaps stronger connection in the end -- esp. in windy locations. Also, thanks for keeping the errors in the video. If I had a buck for every time I've lost a fastener, cut a board short or failed to account for the additional width of the 2 x 4's running at a right angle to the piece I'm measuring for cutting, I could afford to pay the $5-10k for the "nice" Architectural Digest-style shed.

might have been easier & simpler if you were using a 3-way connector at the corners.

Sweeet! Excited to see the progress. This is coming along great! I am surprised that the one hole straps weren't holding the boards up. They usually have a really snug fit. Maybe they were for 1" RMC instead of 1" EMT? Clever idea to rest them on the connector pieces. I could see the larger ones being useful for making a sliding desktop or door etc.

Yeah! I know it’s taken forever to edit these, but better late than never 😅. I’m not sure! I got the right size, not sure if they were just bent or something, but a few actually fit really snug. Turned out great tho! Final product is coming soon!

Haha i remember doing this with my larger toy cars back when i was a kid. My friends thought I was weird because it was obviously not strong enough for those but it was for the aesthetics cuz I seen it on my uncles friends real truck and thought it was cool as heck. I’m 39 now and totally didn’t think of the idea of it for my scx24! Thanks for this!

A cheap used welder would have been cheaper and way stronger then those pipe adapters..don't worry about not knowing how to weld..no one knew how to weld until they bought a welder..kinda the same as a 5speed manual transmission vehicle..lol.. it makes no sense to cut off pipe making the shed smaller for the same price as a bigger shed..I would have made very limited cuts when necessary.. a 10 ft long shed is better then a 8ft long shed etc..

Payload is on the inside the drivers door on a sticker… can’t believe you feel like you can give any sort of advice on how to setup your truck for a scout camper. You don’t know the trim level of your truck (it’s literally on the side of the truck), you don’t know where to find the payload of your truck without calling the dealer.
