- Everything you want to know about the inside of a Scout Olympic Truck Camper, and a few things maybe you didn't.
If you're unfamiliar with Scout Campers, they are one of the coolest options for off-grid overland camping. We had been considering a camper van, a skoolie, or a roof top tent, but one day, by chance, while looking at a Winnebago Sprinter Van, the dealership we were at had a Scout Kenai on the lot. We checked it out and fell in love. These campers are modular and come in different sizes to fit different trucks (Tuktut, Yoho, Olympic and Kenai) and are made for adventures. They run on solar power and can be modified to fit your needs, unlike traditional RVs, they are minimalist, high quality and light weight. We have spent almost 30 nights sleeping in our Scout and wanted to give a detailed look at what it's like inside. We hope you enjoy this interior walk around as much as we did, stay tuned for more adventures! Thanks for watching. As we said in the video ,if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
@ScoutCampers
Just watched your video. Thanks for the great review. FYI, when cooking indoors, just leave the wind guards folded. They are for outdoors in windy conditions.
You have a great personality in front of the camera. And thanks for the informative vid!!
Great overview of the camper!
I'd love a Goal Zero video. I'm confused with mine as well.
Definitely a learning curve, I’ll get my facts straight and post a video soon! Thank you.
Best scout tour out there. Thanks boss
Thanks
Great content! And made me laugh!
Thx Aaron !
Great review; I like the looks of these campers . Look forward to seeing you guys use this. What does your Scout cost, ball park.
Good morning from Godley Texas, I have a Capri Cowboy truck camper. Curious as to what your truck is.. payload capacity. Very informative video and walk through. Glad to see you and the wife are enjoying the Scout. Stay safe and happy travels 😎
Thank you and good evening from Detroit MI. Those are some great questions, and I actually answered them in the video I posted right before this one. I have an f-150 and I believe my payload is about 1700lbs from the factory. As you can see in the video I did a few upgrades to make sure it handles the load properly. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Why not run the fridge from the 12v outlet on the Goal zero ?
How long can you run the fridge on a full charge of battery?
I heard they don’t hold up though if you drive on forest roads
Nice vid. What's the bed length of your truck and did you remove the tailgate?
Thanks
I had an f150 with a 5 1/2 foot bed, never took off the tailgate, but I did just get a different f150 with a 6 1/2 foot bed, so a new video on that might come soon!
Solar panels?
what did you pay approximately?
“Husky” so am I. 😂 wouldn’t want a closet space if I was fat though.
