You know what I've always wondered? Why do criminal teams like Team Rocket still follow League rules (6 Pokémon per person max and only attack the enemy until their Pokémon 'faints' and not until they die) when they clearly don't care? Yes, it's a game mechanic, but there should be _some_ way to show how criminally power-hungry they are, right?

After getting to the end of the main story I looked up how many possible fusions there are. There are around 14,000 unique fusions so I am now content discovering whatever i happen to now. :)

My personal favourite fusion names are "Jellytime" and "Skeleton" which are especially funny because rogue fusions with those are really common

Okay so let me get this straight you don't like zarude because it mythical ,comes with shiny celiby and becaus it has "no lore" well I'd like to kindly disagree with you because zarude's lore is that its based on a myth in the UK called Shug monkey if you want you can research the myth on your own time also there is a movie about Zarude which kind of explains the shiny celiby however you are correct in thinking that Zarude doesn't make sense being dark type but grimsnarl doesn't make sense being fairy type.

What fans fail to realize is the concept of the remake. DP focused on alternative dimensions through the way of time manipulation. Therefore they believe the game to be the same however it is not it is a parallel universe where the same events took place.

Theres definitely some world government stuff going on (all officers wearing the same or very similar uniforms, in the anime everyone is officer jenny; and then interpol, the agency Looker is a part of).

Cassette beasts is an amazing game. I honestly think it's better than pokemon in every single way, except designs (gens 1-4 only) cassette beasts is better than almost all current gen designs. and I'd love for the world to see it as a franchise worth loving. Pokemon came out at the right time with a handful of folks pouring money and marketing the shit out of it, which is why people, to this day, compare even DIGIMON to pokemon. Cassette beasts is an amazing entry with so much heart, exploration, good music, brilliant challenge. And more. The only thing is I wish I could fast forward battles (switch) cause as much as iove turn based and the animations, certain battles can get boring. HOWEVER, the sticker system makes battling fun and provide the opportunity to synergize. Oh AND FUSIONS?? (Which should've been called remixes, maybe in cassette beasts 2) but yeah. This game is WAYYYY better than pokemon (except Arceus cause you can't compare).

I think each pokemon region is like a shogunate. Are they the official government? No, but they're in power because they have the strongest military. The champion is like the shogun, and the gym leaders are like daimyo. While each region may have its own "official" government, that being the one that hires the official police, they're so outclassed by the pokemon themselves that it really doesn't matter. For this same reason, human civilization exists by the pokemon's permission because it's mutually beneficial. If an army of haxorus and metagross didn't want towns or the Pokemon League to exist, there wouldn't be much the humans could do about it.

Im playing platinum right now while listening to this & at Stark Mountain in the post game when one of the last team galactic leaders attempts to take the magma stone & awaken heatran, Looker is disguised as a boulder, then a croagunk, takes the stone & he arrests the old man along with police officers. So he sometimes does stuff? Just thought it was cool i just saw this part in the post game as i watch this vid lol

The bad timeline, oh no

Mythical Pokémon used to be represent something or reference real world myths. Mew is said to be the ancestor of all Pokémon, it’s body’s resemblance to a fetus representing this idea of evolution and how it is both a natural process that can happen overtime or at an instant with new being able to transform into any Pokémon. Celebi represent time and nature, how nature can reclaim its surroundings overtime. Jirachi represents stars and wishes and how stars invoke cosmic power and wisdom embodied by jirachis third eye. Now they’re just like yeah what ever it’s a fury, a ghost kid, and a monkey with vines. Idk maybe I’m missing some context behind these designs but they don’t feel like mythical Pokémon.
