HydrosPlus Lift Increases - Cylinders, Pumps, Pressure, Flow
มุมมอง 1.9K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
The best way to increase your lift capacity is adding larger cylinders, but you'll need more flow to make them work efficiently. Does adding flow add lift capacity, too? No...well yes...er, it depends.

This video is my attempt to show both how differently the loader functions with and without HydrosPlus, but also the difference in how you as the operator will use the loader controls when you have the flow required to give you control of both loader functions at the same time.

Where are you at on the 3R Cab Tractor joystick upgrade?
Thats awesome! Can't wait to see the finished product.
If you're never going to need the plug because you never intend to uncouple the joint, why wouldn't you just use a standard hydraulic fitting?
Until a piece of sand gets in there and the coupler doesn't work anymore.
So much better! And I know I, for one, will sleep much better at night knowing those dastardly dust caps won’t ever hurt anyone again!
Much cleaner and more professional looking!
Do you have plans for a kit for the 2019 4044r ? They are a bigger cubic inch engine than the 4066r and i believe there is a great opportunity for huge power gains in the 4044 series. Intercoolers are very cheap on ebay.
Did you ever do the follow up video to explain more on how the turbo works? I've watched the install video and gained a lot of knowledge, but if there was more, I'm interested in learning.
So this just increases flow so hydraulics work faster and multiple functions at one time. It doesnt increase lift capacity?
Any love for those of us with the 120R MSL?
What is the ORB thread size? Don't recall you mentioning that and I don't see it on your website.
anything for the x758?
How did you hook up the pressure test gauge to the backhoe hydraulic line?
One the first tree, when you got the tree pretty loose, use the stick around the knuckle mount and push the tree sideways. Then you could put your ripper around the base/root ball and get a good lifting bite. Is this the level 3 upgrade? Love the speed!
can you run a cold air intake with k&n filter instead of that big air filter canister?
5 series could use this badly.
La805 on a grand l4060…. Any ideas?
Not at this time since I don't have this model in my shop yet.
The last one - black top right - is the hardest. I removed the other three and capped the lines with jic caps. Removed the forth snap ring (a pocket is really useful to pull them around to a good orientation) then I removed the two bolt on that aluminum casting, that allowed me to pull that toward me and spin it to push back over the coupling. Easy to get a wrench on it now…. Not sure but if you can pull that casting with the floor board on - might be possible. Mine is a 2016 1025r. Hope this helps someone
Could you offset the pump and use a gear drive to run the pump and move the pump away from the steering arm?
It would be tough because you still have to change all of the inputs and outputs.
Nice 😎😎
🇺🇸👍🏻👍🏻
We need some more Kubota bx power parts
Nice
I'd love for my 2501 to lift more I'm all ears on how to improve
I see you use a calendar to measure cycle time just like me
Honestly, I am more interested in switching from deere pattern to cat/sae. I suck at both, but my bro-in-law is fixated on cat. A former union operator, he has the muscle memory. I don't. No room to really put a switcher in there. I'm just going to swap the hoses on the scvs. That way he can use it and I'll develop cat/sae muscle memory.
Not to mention that the boom is slightly different across versions. My 2024 has a lever for the boom lock as opposed to the pint of previous versions. I haven't looked at the difference of the boom in detail. For the boom lock, there is at minimum an extra plate welded to the boom, in the are where a right side pivot would need to be welded. Again, no doubt it could be done. Then one would need to fit another two hoses in a small space, and a manifold to split and direct the flow to an additional cylinder. Much easier to push the spoils to the strong side!
The boom doesn't have a pivot for a cylinder connection on the right side. At minimum it would require a pivot on the boom and a pivot on the 260B frame for the cylinder. Some may have the skill to fabricate those and weld them, but likely not worth the effort.
So we are 9 months since this video any updates?
So much fun!!!
Ordered the Turbo+ and Stage3+ over the weekend for my now 1.6 h 2024 1025r. Can't wait!
So you mean to tell me the batteries that accessible as well😂😂😂
Awesome
Question would changing to the larger cylinders on the 3e series address the jerky and frustrating nature of the loader?
Would this kit allow me to do more than one function at once with a grapple? For example can I lift or lower loader arms while opening or closing or curling a grapple? I have a 3032e and looking at this kit. Does the 3032e have enough hydro flow to allow multiple functions?
Now its MID OCTOBER andddd????
Can you post the link to the hydraulic cylinder? Have a 305 that’s needs to be replaced
Is the curl function any slower?
Do they have this for the 2016 bx25d
14 pto HP on a 1023 🤣🤣🤣 THATS CRAZY
How about the bx25d
So for the 4 new cylinders and the hydros plus pump you're almost $4k?
I didn't even know that!!! How's the 3039R testing going?
Take my money! 😁
Where i can get the kit and how much it cost ?
In the case of skid-steers the lift geometry is designed so it naturally tilts less going up/down than typical loaders do like on your 1025R. That's kind of what these need but the amount of added weight+space with the big links needed under the arms could be problematic, it would really split the difference though where your load at bottom is level, then at 3' high is inclined 10° then at 6' high is 20° etc with plenty of adjustability at any point to tweak your load as needed in between.
Will I be able to add the fittings later I want to do the loader before winter and add the others in the spring
Great job and very impressive!
Badass
