Sony can get 60 fps or performance mode options on their exclusives, why can't Microsoft, guess they either don't give a crap or they suck.

30fps is gross and horrid when turning the camera. I would rather always prioritise 60fps minimum and the scale effects on console from there. Targeting 60fps should be the new industry baseline standard.

I am on the side that all games should have a 60fps mode available for consoles along with the 30fps 4K option. After I bought my PS5 and started playing some of my games in 60 fps with good enough graphics there is really no excuse for games to come out with only the 30fps cap, I for one prefer smooth gameplay over good graphics. But that's just my opinion.

Its not really developers. What has happened is gamers and the community have asked for better graphics, so yes while the Ps5 and Series X are powerful its mostly in the sense they'd play 60fps with what we had in the One X and Ps4 Pro days. But again when we as gamers ask for more, with a $500 price tag on a console you can't get much unless your willing to pay. And people like me would rather there be a 30fps game with life like graphics for 300-500 dollars then pay 1k for 100fps. Its very simple, but often overlooked. I've said this before in other places. We should just NOW be leaving the One X and Ps4 Pro days in terms of graphics fidelity and resolution. We had 30fps 4k on the One X and on the Pro with last gen but now barely hit just 1440p 30fps sure the graphics are better but thats the key. Also why make fancy TV's if the resolution is going to have to be scaled back. I say more 30fps games more 4k games. Unless we revert out minds back to 2020 and keep graphics that way then we can exceed even 60fps every time.

Was hopeful that NT was taking longer than usual to make a bigger & more special game. It seems like what’s actually happening is more incompetence from Phil & his studios. That studio founder took his 20 million dollar personal payout & has been on vacation ever since. Thankfully a few Xbox studios are competent but most aren’t . These studios aren’t hungry as they have a permanent udder to siphon an easy paycheck from. It’s more funny than sad , at this point 🤣

Although I'm Persian myself, and I would have liked to see a ´modern day Persian like´ protagonist in the game, I think the character we got is really interesting and not misplaced. The franchise has always been about a fictional Persia, so that's not an issue. Even if some people view the game as a historical one (though they shouldn't), they should keep in mind that Persia at its peak ruled 44% of the world's population, including African-Egyptians.

Solid list! 2023 was such a gifted year with so many amazing games to play. Seeing many youtubers picking LoP as their best game of the year make my heart pounding. This gem deserves it.

I 100 percent agree that this game is a flawed masterpiece. I dont think Ive ever had this much emotion attached to a game before. This game destroyed me.because of the savrifices made to save the people you love.

The whole thing is b******* so I ended up getting Playstation into 2030 early so I don't have to do the price hike. Might be counterintuitive because they got my money anyways but point stands if they don't fix it I'm going back to PlayStation 3.

Me being a PS player, i like the walkthroughs I seen of the game despite its issues. I enjoyed the Fallout series, I wish I could play this on my console 😂.

I'm grateful I spent $0 on this game The less I had to interact with the menu in any way shape or form, the more fun I got out of the game. I was actively feeling angry for the first 12ish hours of the game, even with UI mods, etc. So many little things that Bethesda could have done to tighten up the UI functions... and just didn't, leaving 3 different functions+ to achieve a single result, but for every gd thing in the game. All those annoying things add up and I don't understand what their goal was there.

Idk you all talk about how when you've been getting absolutely slaughtered by a boss and you finally win that its lie euphoric and releases a ton of dopamine. For me literally every time I've encountered a boss that was incredibly hard to point I thought I wouldn't beat him, and then I finally do I never ever ever feel that satisfaction you guess do. Infact I'm fucking in raged that the developers insisted on making a boss that was hard instead of fair and reasonable. Every single time I'm just fucking pissed off that I had to go through that bullshit just get some dumb ass achievement. Idk man I like From Software games but sometimes the bosses are literally way to much and it's not even fun fighting them anymore

The thing is, these games _do_ have difficulty settings just not in the conventional sense. Difficulty in AC6 is literally based around your build. There are some builds which can absolutely facetank bosses. There are builds which are much more difficult. There already isn't an "equal ground" argument that people think exists it's just From wants people to be more resourceful.

Fromsoft games are not power fantasy games.

I'm of the opinion that there's absolutely no excuse not to have different difficulty options in a game. Yes, FromSoft should have options for different players.

There is a difficulty option it's just buried in the main menu. The difficulty slider is in the AC DESIGN -> ASSEMBLY menu.

I've been thinking about that lately as I'm loving the challenge, but find it hard to get many other people interested. I think they should, hear me out. If 3-6 months or so after release they offer a free update with an easier mode with something like 4/5 repair kits and bosses do 5-10% less damage but you get a 50% penalty on rewards for using it. Its not even a massive change and forces the player to then have to grind more, but will help ease people into the game. Then if they choose to go NG+ you just can't use it anymore. I think it would be a net positive all around and wouldn't harm anyone else's experience
