Sad I never saw her in this role. I went when it was Bernadette. Donna seems undoubtedly the best between the three ladies. The inflection and humor is unmatched!

Oh wow 😱 This is _exactly_ what this song should be like 🤩 She completely gets it. She's so good you almost don't notice how bad the production is. I don't think anybody could do a better job without actively ignoring what the director told them to do (like that ridiculous "smile at the girl while you hand the mirror back" thing).

Such good dancers, but to me Bebe Neuwirth and Karen Dzemba had the edge in precision and flair. No offense to these dancers or anyone here, just my personal observation.

That can't be Shirley Maclaine with her???? Are my eyes failing me again? lol This has to be one of the most difficult solo choreographed pieces to perform in theater!

She has a great voice. You can tell even from this poor recording. I would have loved to have seen her. I wish there were some video of Maria. I saw Chita... who was excellent too.

I have been lucky to meet Donna Marie Asbury, Charlotte D'Amboise and Jason Patrick Sands backstage at the Ambassador. By the way, Jason Patrick also did the Nowadays Whistle.

I love the audience’s reactions to some of her unique vocal touches.

She has a loud..stark and good voice.."Evita"is an rock opera and she sings on this way..every actrees makes an Evita exactly as she feel it...cause Evita is self many Evitas in one....

Eh. Nothing we haven't seen/heard before. Good for her but nothing new here, folks. No surprises, no uniqueness and a tempo that could put a baby to sleep.

I was lucky enough to see DM, yes Bette was legionary, but Murphy was amazing, and the audience went damn near crazy , I've rarely seen such an ovation outside of the opera.
