I had always wondered what local jewelers charge for evaluating pieces.

You are not offending me. I bought one from a reseller at an auction and she gave me a "deal". After I made my complaint for her she wanted me to pay postage to return it. So I didn't. I have it in a drawer or box somewhere. I don't use it even though it does give some information but still leaves it up to guesswork.

I have a couple of different testers and I have to say this one is the easiest for me to use. I don’t completely rely on this tool only. I took all my big rocks to evaluate by another person who knows more than I am. And yes, there is additional cost, but I feel more comfortable by having another person to confirm it besides the tool and me. Good discussion and evaluation 👍

I WISH people would put honest reviews on their TEMU purchases. I always try too. Not everything is 5 stars. Hopefully this lady doing the testing will go back and put an honest review so that others don't get taken by inaccurate descriptions. I have several Moissanite rings from TEMU, very sparkly and pretty. And test out being actual Moissanite. Waited for a holiday sale to buy them. The warehouses I think are supposed to be located in the USA and ship for $2.99 shipping. Supposed to be faster getting your order to you. The stuff shipped from TEMU usually ships free but you do have to buy $15-$20 worth of stuff and it usually takes up to 10 days to get your items.

Can I just tell you, that the audio change at 11:42(ish) scared the socks right off me!!!! My poor cat jumped because I jumped!! Hahahah!

I have not shopped from Temu, but they get most of their products from the same sellers or manufacturers than Aliexpress, and I always go and check to see what they list as the material in the description and specifications - if it does not say silver or sterling silver I do not buy it. Simple.

I like buying jewelry from Temu, but I only wear jewelry for occasions....The truth is if anyone thinks they are going to get top quality jewelry at those prices from Temu they are kidding themselves! I mean really use your heads....complaining that a 10 dollar ring is fake? Come on now!

I sell gemstone jewelry I am Owl&Luna’s and I make everything from scratch. It’s really hard now because people wonder why they can get a moonstone or opal ring for $6 when mine are $70-150 but their opals are lab and their moonstones are glass. I bought some just to find out for sure.

Hi Laura, not sure if you know this all wool has batch numbers on the label, so if you get the same batch number the colour is the same, so you won’t get a venation in colour when you are knitting or crocheting etc. 🤗😊🌸🌼🌸Maria

I have a fail safe of testing items i just have to wear it for 5 to 10 mins if i start scratching myself then its fake. I dont buy jewellery online i go to a jeweller when i want quality pieces.

It does state that its coated with sterling silver in the details. I thought originally it was supposed to be solid silver. It has p925 inside which i assume is plated 925

I had a moissenite wedding ring. Nobody but nobody knew the difference between a real diamond and a moissenite. It was absolutely stunning!

I’ve bought two 925 silver rings from Temu and they are both real and excellent quality. I also bought from a local store, for ten times the cost, and three months later it isn’t here yet. I’ll still buy from both, but it’s no wonder people gravitate to Temu. Edit: I think some of these are stainless steel. They have a lot at Temu and it lasts well.

If you bought a $20 diamond tester, it will show moissanite as a diamond. You have to get the more expensive ones that cost like $100 or more in order to find out if it’s a moissanite or a diamond. The easiest test though is just the fog test. If you breathe on a moissanite, it will fog up, and it will hold the fog longer than any diamond would. Diamonds, don’t usually fog up. 💎

nice haul! love the bird postcards, I love feeding the birds in my yard and watching them. Until yesterday when I heard a lot of bird noises so I ran to the door and there was a hawk pinning down a blue jay pecking at him!! I was yelling and opened the door and he flew away with the blue jay in his talons omg I was sooooo upset I witnessed that 😩😭
