So. About the horse design. I agree with keeping a brown/white color palette and the undercut hair to resemble a mane. What if their weapon was a flail for the horse tail? I don't know what clothing I would put them in really. I don't think it would have to be Western/cowboy style if you got the mane and tail down. But I would say that for the boots, it would be cool to line the bottom as well as the toes and sides of the feet with metal (or a metallic look at least for the parts that need to flex) to increase kick damage (because horses also kick like a truck) and give the impression of horse shoes. It'd be a little harder to incorporate that idea for the gloves, but I'm thinking metal plates on the knuckles of the gloves. It might not look like a horshoe, but hopefully the association would be there and help increase punching power as well. (Because you can be trampled with front hooves just as easily as be kicked with the back ones). Since it's a horse, honestly, a bodysuit might be acceptable. Horses are fast and either hulking or slim but either way is muscular with sleek fur. Maybe you could incorporate a simple brown quilted duster coat or cape almost like Sparrow's without a hood because horses often wear blankets in colder weather or as part of their tack. It doesn't even have to be brown. It would be any old pattern. Brown would suit the color scheme, but you could play with it since the blanekt is not intrinsic to the horse but rather an accessory. I suppose that would leave the question of what the miraculous is since an ascot would probably out of place on the design idea I offered. Well, it could be the cape and/or coat. It would be less convenient than the miraculouses that are only accessories and it would be really different from how miraculouses generally function. I would say what about a metal bracelet that has a design reminiscent of a horse bit? Or maybe a belt? That might be little harder to justify the character just wearing in everyday life depending on their style and personality, but it would give a convenient hooking point for the flail on their costume. And that way, it doesn't stand out quite as much potentially as the miraculous item (referencing your complaints about the one glove/bracelet design for certain heroes in the series). It would still be pretty noticeable, but as a belt that has some amount of utility, maybe it might be overlooked as simply a design preference? Ah, but then, if someone saw that belt in real life, it would be hard to explain away... Well, things can change color when in use vs. not, so maybe it could be black when not activated and when using the costume, it can be adorned with leather straps and/or belts as a callback to reigns and help camouflage the design of the metal? Ugh. I keep editing this. This idea plays with the rules of the miraculous, but what if the shape changed? Like it's a normal leather belt with a silver buckle that's a simple ring design (like the sides of of a horse bit, so it's one of those belts that you loop through the rings then pull tight). Then it expands to show more metal and resemblance as a bit with more intricate leather designs or pieces? Or maybe the belt is generic enough as a simple brown belt that no one would think twice about seeing it even if a hero is regularly seen with a similar belt just because it seems so commonplace? Ring belts are cheap. Set aside that it's made from thin leather, and people might assume you got it for like 5 to 10 dollars. That leaves the issue of how it signals the time limit when the special ability is used, but to be honest, do all the heroes need abilities that require a cooldown/time out rather than an overall buff? So I say screw it, this is better. Oh, but horses have had a long history as war mounts. A variant or powerup of the cotsume could incorporate plate armor and/or chainmail. Oh! And war horses that wore plate mail often also had ear guards! I dunno if I'd go full helmet with a plume for this one. It'd make sense, but I suppose it's up to taste. But if their head ISN'T covered, I'd like to include metal ear cuffs as a nod to that, even if they do nothing really functional. If we wanted a flight powerup (for inclusion of the mythical pegasus), then the coat could transform into glossy brown wings that look feather, but are actually tooled leather. (We'll say magic makes up for lift or if it really bothers you, have the wings have the function of a glider, but augment the lift with a jetpack or rocket boots of you like. Another powerup/mythical varient would be the unicorn. Maybe turn the whole costume white and keep the flail, but give the user a giant metal lance. You could maybe combine this with the war mount form and give plate armor for an old knights sort of appeal. If you did want a time out ability, maybe all these variants aren't power ups, but rather different forms that can be chosen to suit a specific situation if need be. So have all these be an option and the user has to choose which one before activating it. Then you'd have to figure out how it signals time counting down, but otherwise, I feel this is also a good potential idea. Also, last thing (god I hope--I keep coming back to this 😭), I do like the knee/elbow pads inclusion on your design. One, because horses' knees often look a bit knobbly so this fits thematically. Also, when running quite fast (as I expect the horse would), it's quite common to tumble and hit the dirt with your knees or elbows or both. On that note...this is going to be a lot more of a stretch. But. Alternative to the bodysuit with a coat/cape, what about a biker look? A biker look would be able to incorporate a black and white aeathetic much more naturally. You could keep the undercut manes and the flail weapon. But you have sturdy boots (which you can incorporate steel toes and accents in naturally) and metal is a common accessory in a "biker look," so a metal belt wouldn't look out of place (my mom actually used to have a metal HD belt). It also fits thematically to have brass knuckle gloves (which would be fingerless for the biker look). Plus leather jackets and riding pants are already made of thick leather with padded elbows and knees to prevent damage when falling off a vehicle moving at high speeds. The issue is that a biker design could include a helmet naturally, but it wouldn't work for a few reasons. One, it removes the mane look because it covers the hair. Which would be a big loss to the design. Two, I feel it would look too clunky for a maneuverable hero. But! Bikers also often wear balaclavas or specially made biker face masks to proect from the wind. I feel a balaclava would be too similar to the shinobi mask looks you already have, so a face mask that's shaped a bit like a bandana and only overs the lower half of the face would work too. I say bandana-esque shape, but they're not bandanas. Maybe you could make that work too, but I'm referring to a neoprene face shield basically. Maybe you could work this into resembling a horse face somehow? Maybe just black would be fine depending on how the rest of the look is balanced. Anyway. If you feel the biker look is getting away from the horse motif, that would probably be fair. But! Let me just say that motorcycles are already connected to horses. "On a steel horse I ride..." GAH! I can't stop coming back to this! Too many ideas! Their hair doesn't have to be unstyled in straight or waves either, as many people braid horse tails and mains. So the hair can have numerous side braids if they want. I had also considered that it might be hard to run around with a flail smacking about the legs. So maybe it can have different modes as well. A leather flail, a singular full-length whip, and a decorative braided strap accessory. The flail is the best for keeping with the horse motif in terms of looks, and a whip fits thematically, but unless they're curled (thus kind of locking away the tail look), it might be too hard to run and parkour with on the hip. A single tight braid would be practical while somewhat maintaining the look, but I feel it would look really weird. Have to see. Oh my god, it doesn't stop. Horses can also be muscular but kind of delicate depending on the breed. So another option could be to go for a medieval farmhand sort of look with a sleeveless sort of white tunic top that's sort of shapeless and loose. Pair that with brown breeches while keeping side-parted hair and flail weapon. Not all of it is going to look old and rustic. I still want to encorporate the horseshoe idea into the boots somehow. But that might be hard to blend it with the rustic design of the costume...I feel like it could be managed though. The metal belt would probably also look out of place, so maybe...Oh! Maybe not a farmhand. What about a blacksmith-inspired look? Keep the loose white sleeveless top with a brown leather apron around the front with the apron ties around the waist being the metal bit chain? You can pair this with skin-tight or loose brown pants. I would put this on a lean but muscular character as a lot of horses have slim elegant legs that muscular but quite slim and long compared to their barrel-esque bodies. The loose tunic top is meant to give the body the illusion of more bulk but while that's a bit lost under the apron, the apron itself achieves this much more effectively anyway. The slenderness of the limbs is accentuated. The problem is the pants. Looser pants would make more sense for a working class farm design, but form-fitting breeches (while accentuating long, slim limbs) are more of a high class thing. I don't really know too much about what blacksmiths wore beyond the apron, though, so maybe? I feel this one isn't nearly as good as the other designs I mentioned, but I think it could still work of fleshed out and planned a bit better.

For the male "Hawkmoth" design, I think that the issue for me is the whole bottom edge of the cape and the danger presented by the aggressive male design as a whole. It does not look good with sharper edges of the design. It's a more stylistic approach to a butterfly's silhouette, I think (I don't know butterflies that well), but having the bottom edge of the cape flare out sharply at the bottom to reflect the flared collar and then...gah, I don't know fashion so I really don't know the words for these things. But like a flared bifurcated type of thing. Almost a bit like a whale's tail with the flukes. I also kind of like the dots around the edge of the cape, but I wouldn't know how to incorporate them without them feeling out of place... Oh! Instead of down the outer edge of the cape, just have big white concentric circles on either the inside or outside of the bottom corners of the cape and make it sort of blurry instead of clean. That way, it's a callback to the type of camouflage on butterflies used to scare predators onto thinking there's a more dangerous creature looking directly at them. The shape might be a stylization of butterflies rather than a refelction of any natural shapes , but I think it works? I dunno. I'd have to see it. And if you wanted to incorporate Nooroo's little wing antenna-looking things (I don't know what those are called either 😭), I think they'd fit better on the points of the sharp corners of the cape I suggested. I kind of like the shinobi-like aesthetic because there are a lot of butterflies known for their camouflage patterns. I almost wanted to suggest that maybe the butterfly miraculous should have the power of illusion or camouflage, but then I realized that it fits the folklore of the fox and thus illusion should remain a fox power probably for that alone. But camouflage could still work. Well, maybe not since we're not insects and changing color to fit the environment is more a chameleon thing. But if the butterfly miraculous ever had to leave the safety of a hideaway, they maybe wouldn't be able to disappear, but what if they had like a brief intimidation ability to stun their enemies for a couple seconds? (Or maybe disorient would be a better word?) Just enough to get away? Kind of similar to a lot of other series when they have a character with snake attributes. Sort of would work in the same way. But the snake eyes thing implies a formidable foe whereas butterfly camouflage is a simulated shock factor. Thus, disorient enemies rather than stun them in place?

I'm not going to sugarcoat it, i highly dislike the male tiger outfit. It's way too poofy. The pants could be used as mini parachutes. And I would actually ask for a different one just because of how impractical it looks. However I do love all your other designs and would adore to see them in the actual show.

I love love these designs. Honestly using the theatrical masks works really well especially since these miraculous have chinese origin. And I think you captured that incredibly well, intentionally or not. (Also this is my first time watching one of your videos and the cbat popping up not once, but twice caught me so off guard)

19:45 I really think that the horse miraculous could be that tiny spike (or sun shaped) iron piece you find on the cowboys boots. But, like, only the couple of spikes. I know the miraculous were created way before that, but... it's just for the look part. The sun shaped pieces coube also be used as earrings or necklace, even wrist acessories

I appreciate the action shots because a few didn't look quite right until I saw the action poses and it really helped mesh them in my mind. Love these so much, the very first female design you made was so pretty.

I know you said you didn't really care about the Journey to the West references, but you pretty much kept all of them. There weren't many in Miraculous in the first place, just Monkey (It's still a monkey), Migraine crown (Hey! Since it's literally the miraculous, you got the migraine crown too!) and staff (I see a staff.).

I feel like for the horse, you could do a number of things. Something tactical for example, maybe draw inspiration from different game characters. OR something bougie, and draw inspiration for the Kwami’s personality
