Thank you for showing the install of the X endstop! I was having issues with my Ender 5 Plus conversion when I realized that mine did not use an 8020 T nut for the endstop bracket like yours, instead using a threaded hold in the 8020 frame.

I have 2 E5+ printers one has the genuine Bondtech BMG and I have bought a clone for the other one, however, the clone is running backwards and so the fix is to swap the 2 centre wires from the extruder motor around but no matter which tool I use to press down on the captive blades in the stock Creality plug the wires wont release, I don't want to cut and solder the wires as later down the line I may want to use a different extruder. as anyone else had this issue and how did you solve it?

If anyone else was confused about attaching the hotend assembly to the extruder, the instructions failed to note that you might need to dry the grub screw outwards a bit in order to get the hotend fully inserted. There's a small inner ring on the hot end assembly that needs to get fully inserted into the extruder body. Once that's in, then you can drive your grub screw in and secure the hotend.
