I was there and it was a blast! I remember hearing just like Woodstock..."The New York State Through Way is Closed Man! I never saw SO manny people or cars. I was right against the stage. I missed Woodstock but wasn't missing this one. I took pictures of the Band and The Dead. If i remember correctly the Alman Brothers finished the show and their oncore song was Wipping Post. I'm glad I was a part of history. I can't believe how many year's have gone since the show. Thanks for all your efforts guys! The show was AMAZING! 👍😎👍❤👏👏👏

Great show big Steve. Thanks for all the his learning. I love learning. Love Sam. Got to get to “know“ him a little bit before he died and he was really cool and kind. He introduced me to Courtenay pollack and had him make me tie dye covers for my amps. Really a gem. Love your show big Steve. Hope we get to share a spliff one day soon. 🤘🏽☮️🌈💥💀

Does any band have such a close friend that tells stories about that band on radio and TH-cam, not to mention a friend who relates the stories with great intelligence and soul? Sure I'd like someone like Steve telling stories about The Byrds, but The Grateful Dead are very unusual musically and otherwise. Their connections are vast and Steve's era is right in there.
