I've subscribed just for the video on this! I also have a question/ video idea, how would you make catachans based off the helldiver viper commandos?
For a rough first idea, there's obviously the catachans you use as a base(though if they are too old to work with, maybe the new space marine scout kill team because of the exposed arms), and maybe the tempestus scion heads since they have the helmets/masks with berets

Are these posable?
It was in this video, I do make some of my builds so the joints are posable and loose at first, but afterwards I did glue the joints so it could hold itself together and be stable enough. My BT/vanguard armiger is finished and still posable though since I used magnets for all the joints

Which of these builds do you think is the easiest to do
Of all the mechs I've done videos on? Probably the legion dreadnought. I wouldn't say any of them are that easy, I've only gotten to this point after doing these conversions for a few years, but hopefully my videos break them down well enough, and I'd be happy to answer any additional questions

It is! Kind of. I made it using a 40k parts, mostly an adeptus mechanicus ironstrider

So when you're painting in this video, to the left of your computer mouse is your paint well, but I've never seen one like that before. What is it and where did you get it?
It's a brush rinser I got from green stuff world, a quick way to clean my brush and easily change the water so it doesn't get too dirty

out of curiosity.. what brush are you using for dry brushing, it looks interesting. Is it a special design?
Yeah, it is, it's artist opus' D-series of brushes(I specifically use the medium and large ones), made for drybrushing and really great for it. I hear that some make up brushes work too since they're similar and a cheaper alternative if you wanna try it yourself
@@DumbRobotStuff thanks kindly! I suck at drybrushing with regular brushes, I'll try those instead, since they definitely seem pretty great
@@dragonsflame3777 Drybrushing with regular brushes is very difficult, but brushes made specifically for it do make it a lot easier, and drybrushing in general is great and has saved me so much time. It still might take a minute to get used to though, artist opus also has a channel with some great tutorials on drybrushing, so it might be worth looking those up too, good luck with your painting
You could call this: Warhammer the dark age battlesuits..... making from all of this some kind of recuperated stc that shows how pre imperial tech was, before the devolution of the admech trying to connect Microwave proccessors to tanks. And for Tau weapons..... lets say that the entire tau race its a byproduct of another human stc and I call it done. IT JUST WORKS AND I LOVE YOUR BUILDS!
Thanks, and yeah, I justify a lot of my builds lore-wise by saying it's lost dark/golden age of tech-era, either recovered STCs or attempted recreations of incomplete records of it. I really like that aspect to the 40k setting and try to explore it a lot with my admech
