Install a Memphis Shades Batwing kit from scratch on a Harley Road King
Great vid. Is there ever a problem with fuel leaking from the pump? I wouldn't like fuel dripping on5o motot! What sizes do peanut tanks come in? Cheers
The best video for this on the Internet!!! Really needed this. Thank you.
How do you switch to the next mode to enter the next value? Just hit the middle mode button after every value? Or does it do it on its own
Great video, will be using this as my go to for install on mine
Looks great!
Hi! Where did you find those side HD 3D badges for the tank? Thanks!
Just bought a 2010 Fat Boy and needed to see how this works. Yours is the ONLY video I could find that shows it. Much apprecite your video, and was difficult even finding the right kit to do this with. Thanx!
Rear Turn Signal Relocation Kit For Harley Softail Standard Fat Boy Springer 03+ Finally found this on e-bay.
Great video Don. Bike looks stunning. Where did you source the Harley Davidson decals from that you have on the tank?
Where did you order from? Thank you!
thank you
How well does this glossy black match up to harley davidsons vivid black?
Great, very helpful, thnx.
Nice job. Thanks for sharing.
Terrible review
G'day Don, do ya reckon the batwing will block my turn signals mounted on my bars 14 inch high ballers 2014 fatboy
Great video. There is a gasket , green in colour, attached to the base of the fuel assembly. Ideally a new gasket should be installed when reinstalling the fuel assembly into the tank. Here’s a link to a video showing the installation of a fuel gauge, it shows the old gasket being replaced: th-cam.com/video/xcYmc44Oqmc/w-d-xo.html
Awesome thank you well Demonstrated
Fantastic!! You are a legend
Lot of work to move back 1 inch!
Great video! Does it block wind from chilling your hands ?
Thanks you Don, I will do the same for my 48..
Could not find the the decal on ebay
Great video, beautiful bike - thanks for sharing! Question, do you recall what size is the overflow fuel line that you bought at the opposition? 5/16 or 1/4 size?
Great job my friend!! I have to remove my rear fender to have painted and you just gave me confidence to try and do it.
Good video well explained in detail thanks
This video has been around for a minute, but man I was looking for some sort of wind protection for my road king I could take on and off as I please and am I glad I found this video. Thanks man!
Haha I feel ya pain with the tank
great video thanks and the tank looks great.
Great video I have the same bike can you please tell me what and where can I find the splicer connecter adapter to turn on my signal lights with the brake light so the turn on with the brake lights when you turn on the bike please!!! Thank you
Looks great. Mine comes in tomorrow. I’m stoked.
very helpful video Thank you 👍
What ever happened to that 4.5 gallon roadster tank? That would be my choice. Bigger is better. Why not go for the most you can get?
Thx. I have an 02 , but it's pretty much the same.
Looks good man
This has given me the confidence to go get an aftermarket tank, get a custom paint job and swap it myself avoiding the "Harley premium" at the dealership!
Changing out my 48 tank to a 4.5 gallon. This video was a great help, thank you! My tank will be wider...I'm wondering how much this will affect the bottom mount mirrors? Not excited about switching them around as I like this mount style.
I have a 4.5g tank and mirror didn’t fit bottom mounted miroir with stock bar. I installed mini apes and they’re back downward
Looks hot 👌
Awesome bike, great video. This is so close to the style i want. Bigger tank, white walls, brown leather. I'm just not sure what color paint i want. Would love to know what is the biggest tank available that would fit, without looking too stupid?
Nice bike
Thank you for the video. The last guy had to undo and remove his fuel tank. Looks like a Fat Boy is an easier install, thank God.
thanks man, this video made me see an actual memphis shade on an actual road king, and the work behind installin' it... that cleared my mind
Awesome video!
Well Done!!! Cheers.
Wild Hogs! 😂 Good job! Looks Great 👍
thanks buddy! very helpful!
Good video love outside of fairing but inside looks so unfinished needs speakers or something to make it look better
Hello Don Kiwi,
Great video. Might want to make a follow up video of replacing the faring with a detachable windshield..
