I played through this game once or twice like 20+ years ago. It was really fun. I still think about it once in awhile, though i only remember having to decide on what kind of magic to specialize in. I think it was popular because the loot was like diablo 2.

Yeah, i also didn't care much for how multiplayer was handled. Lootable items were color coated in multiplayer. Meaning if you're blue and your friend is red, you can only loot that glowing blue fridge and not that glowing red gun case on the floor. But my friends and I weren't too bothered by it, we still had fun and traded items if someone needed stuff. If you just started a game and joined a friend who was days into a community, they could give you a rucksack of whatever you needed, swap characters, do it again. Then when you go back to your own game, your characters still have those rucksacks you can drposit into your comunity, as well as any other stuff in your character's inventory. Also, you get rewards for playing in someone else's game, and those rewards get better the longer you play in that session. I do hope they tweak multiplayer in 3 though, it would be nice to cross the map and not be teathered to the host. Even though thay teather was very generous with the distance it gave. I also hope we can customize characters more than just clothing. Like fully create their looks, name, stats ect. Would be cool to make a comunity of your friends to try and survive with.

Thank you, man. I played The last stand 1 and 2 a long, long time ago but never know about the sequels. I preety like the first 2 games, what a pity.

I am praying to the gods we get steam workshop for this and see what the community does with Sonny. Loved this game so much and the replay ability is like no other.

Man. I remember being the nerdy kid in grade school, one of the only ones that played video games avidly. and for one glorious day, when the teacher said "okay, free day. Go nuts." I was the most popular kid in class as I introduced everyone to Sonny, gave tips, explained stats, and the concept of synergizing. This was around, 2007 I think? Give or take a few years, so that would mean I was 13 or so. For one hour and a half, I learned what it was like being the cool kid. Never experienced that again.

hello folks, if you're reading this congratulations. You've found me. Your reward? A sort of sad but sweet story. About 4 or 3 years ago I was addicted to this game, so much so that I recommended it to my friends. Around this time I had a gf who is no longer with me (Not dead) I always call her when I play the game and she always watches and was genuinely interested. Even mentioning it nearly a year after I stopped playing it due to the flash engine being taken down. 2 years after that she broke up with me on August 4th 2024. 1 won't expose what she did afterwards but it's disgusting. But after those 2 years I looked up "The last stand" on steam after I saw a video of its complete history on TH-cam, there I found out it was reuploaded on steam back in 2021 when me and her were still dating. I immediately bought it with no questions asked. I replayed it for 3 hours finishing the whole story and looking at every detail I can to give me nostalgia.. reminded me of the times me and my now ex just sat in the VC as she watched me play.. this game, this one single game holds a very special place in my heart. I doubt it'll change anytime soon, and I doubt l'll not have this be one of my favorite games to play every now and then.. I spend about 300+ pesos to buy the re release of this on steam and it was the best choice I have ever done.. Thank you for reading this. I really really hope you all have a great day. As an og player i truly believe curve balls need a option to switch them off like i played at release i played 3 years latter it was epic then curve balls god damned bs that you may or may not have even asked for they can be fun but also very annoying as you cant play the game how it was originally intended anymore, lets say you gotta help sime enclave but oh no a scavenger has set up camp and is stealing you're meds and ammo and fuel, well before curve ball you didn't have a scavenger so you just did mission, but now you literally have to go kill the scav or you keep losing resources and this just messes up the whole flow of the game i really wish it was an optional feature instead of a forced down you're throat annoyance.

Do you suggest playing the first one before this one. Just got back into gaming after a 10 year hiatus. Bought an xbox carbon black since im on a budget. Looking for a good game, already wasted 60 bucks on new world. Just cant get into it.

I've played the first 3 games when I was young

I remember this wow- I’m not even close to being old but it’s still nostalgic for playing this in unblocked games at school.

So I've just did a investigation on the game creator krin ( by putting his name on google ) and it said on LinkedIn that he been working on computer science work for Amazon and google around the time he went offline with his game making, unless it's a big coincidence, it seems like krin just change his career which is great for him, all i could hope is maybe he might return one day or heck he might be cooking up something in secret who knows, hope for the best

I believe it is unclear if the rest of the country is still ok in the series apart from union city? If so it would be cool if the military came back and actually did something good for once, since they sucked at containing the outbreak. It would be boring but i feel no games actually make the military not suck and contain the outbreak.

looks like my type of game I couldn't buy a PC or even laptop.. I do love zombie survival games and add it up with community management.. I heard of this game before but yeah like I said I couldn't buy PC and gaming console.. I would try this game today..
