This is by far one of my favorite features as well! One of the main reasons I didn’t get a power chair sooner is simply that I didn’t have a accessible vehicle and I don’t think getting one would be very beneficial to my life as I go out with a lot of people and I don’t want to tied up to one vehicle!

The wheels on the walker that Anna is using in the video appear to be too small, but I couldn't get a good enough side view to be sure of that. 8-inch wheels are really the smallest that people should use with a 4-wheeled walker, unless it has two 8 or 10-inch wheels in front, with two 6-inch wheels in back. For the record, I drive a Nova Mini Mack rolling walker myself, and really like it. It's designed for short, wide people. The company discontinued this model a while after I bought mine, but they still carry parts for it, including the replacement hand grips I got recently. The company also has a number of other rolling walker models, including a replacement for the Mini Mack that has a few more features. That's the Star 8 HD petite. They also make and sell a number of other mobility aids, including canes, and they also sell other health and medical aids. Their full web name is novajoy.com. My only connection to them is as a satisfied customer, as my Mini Mack is a big help to me. Because I like reverse humor, I named it Warp 9.😂

Just a heads up. Modifying a walker does void the warranty. However, sometimes alterations are necessary. I think this is one of those times. I drive a Nova Mini Mack rolling walker myself, and it has been a very big help to me. I did make one minor change for safety reasons when I first assembled it. The instructions have what I consider a fault in them. They call for running the brake cables on the outside side of the handlebars. This puts the cables at risk of snagging on things. If the walker user is in motion when that happens, they might have a bad fall, or otherwise get hurt. I already have enough health issues, so I used my common sense, and ran my brake cables on the inside side of the handlebars. Even with my wide butt, they aren't in my way, and I have the peace of mind of knowing that they are unlikely to ever snag on anything. 😊 Ideally, walker makers should run the brake cables THROUGH the handlebars. Although Nova discontinued the Mini Mack, they came out with another model for short, wide people that has even more features than my Mini Mack. That's the Star 8 HD Petite. If and when my Mini Mack needs replacing, I will probably get that new model. As to my use of the word "drive" in relation to operating a walker, it is actually an accurate usage, as I provide the power, the direction, and when to stop and park. Anyway, enjoy the greater freedom you get from having a walker.😊

I used to have a three-wheeled bike. I rode that thing ten miles every day. Rain or shine. My family couldn't afford a fancy one with all the safety features. We would just get mine from classified ads and I think once we got one from Walmart. Then my stupid CP had to crush some bones in my hand and I couldn't ride anymore. I've looked into getting one like you have but 20 years later and I still can't afford it
