Yeah this video is aging REALLY well with PSN going offline recently.

I have played on xbox since the very first console but after buying the series x and waiting for AAA games that never came i was forced to buy a playstation 5 in order to play new and exciting gsmes. I still check in with xbox games once and a while and when i do this i see that its literally the same bs as when i left. Also the 2025 xbox showcase was a complete joke. Nothing but low budget uninteresting games. But.....what did we expect for £10 a month???? We get what we pay for folks!

Look, so far, every first party exlusave for the ps5 has been ported to pc, and even run on a lot of these handheld gaming pcs that are coming out Thare is no reason too actually own the PS5 beyond just being a sony fan

To me, my thoughts abou this game is simmilar to my opinion on Mario Party 4, but more extreme. Everything except the actual boards is good, but the boards are trash. I don't like the car mechanic, not just because it's diffrent, but because it removes strategy and agency from the players, and turns the game into "roll the dice and hope you win". And even then, if the item system was better, the car didn't completely replaced the traditional style, or the boards didn't repeat mechanics so much (4 out of the 7 boards have a mechanic where there is a looming threat the makes you lose half of your ministars), or if the mechanics had more room to breathe and build up, than MP9 would be great. But none of those things happened, so we end up with a Mario Party game where the main mode makes players just sit there, roll dice, and beg for the game to end after the mid-boss.

The PS5 currently has less exclusive games released for it than the Intellivision Amico, a games console that does not exist.

I am so tired of cutscene heavy story games . I don’t have a problem with all such games , but when the actual gameplay is compromised and less fun - to me that game is pure garbage . That’s why I prefer Switch games more nowadays - less story , more gameplay focus

I bought my PS5 because everyone said it was the better than the XBox Series S yet every game I play is easily available on the Xbox and every time I look at the PS store, there ain’t shit to play except $80 titles and discounted games that suck.

I love how there is one less exclusive since spiderman 2 just came out on pc.

Guys, cross-gen is fine for the first couple of years of PS5, while it builds up install base, but that's it. This is a really obvious thing to do, and I have no idea why we're STILL GETTING PS4 GAMES in 2025. Hey, Sony, are you guys high?

The only console i have is my xbox 360 and my ps2. I don't want to mess around with the 8th gen and up unless i feel like modding one, way too expensive since i got a pc already

I still don't understand why someone would buy a console, Nintendo is doing practically nothing to comvat piracy, Xbox just... Does nothing and you can buy games on PC, and Sony backsabbbes you constantly by releasing exclusives on PC.

If you want high frame rates then it would be better to go for a PC, if you don't mind losing a few exclusives. I have a ps5 slim and a PC myself. The ps5 is good for when I just want to boot up a game quickly and sit in the living room. The PC is good for getting games cheap, the variety of games and graphical fidelity. Oh and Frist person shooters too, where 200fps or above gives you the upper hand I'm competitive gaming.

I unironically find MP9 to be more skill based. The mini games directly give you mini stars to help you win, and the vast majority of them are skill based imo. I tend to be better at mini games than my friends, and I have a way higher win ratio in MP9 due to this

My buddy Seth and I played this a lot when it came out and we had a good time with it despite its flaws. I played through each board a few years ago and it was honestly not a horrible experience. By no means is it my first pick, not even close, but if someone asked to play MP9, I'd rock a board or two (10 on the other hand is a mess that we don't talk about)

I think the console man matters for a experience and a long time customer. I find myself constantly coming back to the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii you because they have amazing console menus as same as the PS4 I come back as well and again same with the PS2 and original Xbox. they all have great menus and I think if you want someone to continuously play your console or be a longtime customer you have to make a menu that is good and we’ll catch an eye. That’s why I don’t feel that excited to play a PS five or an Xbox one cause their menus are so bad the PS five menu actually fits with it though.

I think the PS five does a great job of feeling kind of futuristic and walking and feeling like it would be on that console. Sony has always done a great job with our console menus.

Because buying up Bethesda and Activision Blizzard totally means that Xbox has it downfall. You are just a console fanboy who only cares about console sales and nothing else.

Microsoft and Sony port everything to PC now. There's simply no need to buy their consoles anymore. They are overpriced, underpowered, and have ridiculous online fees. Even a mid range PC obliterates those consoles. All you need is a PC + Switch to play every game.

I have all platforms before I start i bounce between them all and playstation is lacking just as much at the moment, all the games they've released this gen have been remasters of old games but the majority was already playable titles or a couple sequels then you've got the live service failures, microsoft are at least trying to build back up they purchased a good few good studios and have allowed the time and space to create NEW games releasing this year reviving old IP's breathing new life into existing ones and attempting to create as is a lot of studios at the moment even playstation studios so I'm just saying I dont think all this hate is deserved they've had a bad few years but they've cut off some dead flesh and are trying to continue there has been some questionable choices, so has playstation they're just not so widely announced, I personally believe microsoft and playstation both have some good stuff cooking and I look forward to seeing it rather than focus on the bad stuff we've seen recently just hold on, have a bit of belief in the industry they're all trying to recover from bad decisions, giants have crumbled the titans have fallen, we'll see in due time who emerges and what emerges from the ashes... also this guy in the video is clearly a fan boy sticking to old arguments clearly ignoring that playstation haven't done so hot either and xbox do not publish sales so his statistics aren't from a sound source... When are young and gullible consumers going to learn? That any thing that becomes trendy or popular. These greedy corporations are watching you, then having board meetings on how they can capitalize off of it, making you the target market. 🤦 Streaming as a gamer to try and make money off of it? Thats probably one of the main causes. They also force you to play online, so they can monitor your gaming activity. Then wrap it up in a pretty bow, to sell it back to you as a so called "COOL" feature. These companies dont give two shits about you or your wallets. They just want your money, so thet can try and rule the world.

Also, while Superstars and Jambouree are a step in the right direction - fact is that neither of them are 'mean spicy' enough to recapture that initial tension/vibe we all loved in 3-6; and they're far too generous with coin dispensing. I would take the ps2 and its games over ps5 anytime.

I have bought gtx 3060 for $1k, another one later for my brother for $500 and later gtx4080 for myself. And I live in the occupied part of Ukraine (life sucks in here). I also have 4 mv2 ssds from 500gbs to 2tb. And 8 and 12 core cpu. So the problem is where you live and the job you have. You have to pay for stuff that you should own (so not pay for it) and that is the issue. So the main point is that PS cost as cheap as only possible comparing to the actual prive of the hardware.

To be fair, you can play PS4 games on the PS5 and Nintendo games can be less content for about full price WITHOUT decent sales, horrible online service and the amiibo/limited run games get hard to find and scalped. And it feels like you’re ignoring the games based off Japanese IP’s or anime. Nice way to ignore a big chunk of their fanbase.

For an extra £100 I can get a console with 1 terabyte!
