The disc version of the PS5 slim is cheaper than the Series S. The PS5 is better than the Series S. The PS5 (Disc Version Slim) is Only $500 on Amazon. So what If the PS5 has a Small number of Games for it; It’s backwards Compatible to 99% of PS4 Games (I wish it was backwards compatible to PS3 and PS2 games though). The Series S is $529. If Sony and Microsoft are not selling their Consoles for more than what it cost to make it than their not gping to make a Profit. Sony and Microsoft would lose Money and Get Shutdown if they sold their Consoles for the same price it took for them to make their consoles. The term "Expensive" is subjective; What I call Expensive, someone else would call cheap (or affordable).

The problem is the Woke Crowd Infiltrating The Gaming Community and Turning Certain Game Franchises like (Mortal Kombat and Assassin's Creed) to Shit. I bought my xbox series s just so I could play Gripshift. I loved that game so much back in 2005 on PSP. It's even better on a big screen. Other than that, I'm not really a gamer. I miss old games from the 90s and early 2000s. Games were fun back then.

Yeah there is really no point in making a financial decision to buy a ps5 or the pro for that matter i was in a tough decision early this year either not buy games for the ps brand or my Sports car suffers I chose to get rid of the ps5 I had as i have a pc anyway so it made no sense to keep up maintenance on the console due to how much value I would get from it.

There will be exclusive games for ps5 late in its life because they are making for the next console also.

After I stopped playing my PS4 I've been gaming on PC. When the PS5 came out I wanted to wait until some games came out. Fast forward I just bought a PS5 this month (December 26, 2024) because I just realized GTA 6 isnt gonna be on PC until like 2032 or some shit and now I'm just finding out Sony's exclusives for the PS5 sucks and the few games that are good I could just buy on steam 😭😭 I have a Netflix and Hulu box on the way

I’m fine with sequels would be especially great to get a LBP4 or even a new jak and daxter, sly cooper, infamous, killzone, resistance, motor storm, GT, Warhawk, wipeout, modnation racers, pain, fat princess, flower, flow, journey, medieval, twisted metal they have so many ips but don’t do anything with them

What happens with PlayStation these days is called complacency. They just doesn't have any competition since Xbox failure, so they do whatever the hell they want (in a bad way). Nintendo is in it's own world.

just like nintendo with legend of zelda, kirby, and the ever present mario, PlayStation RELIES on trying to stay relevant by absuing god of war and spiderman. Issue with this is its the same damn game but with a different story see playstations exclusives tend to have amazing story telling (except when they dont, last of us 2) but thats ALL they really have. God of war ragnarok for example gameplay wise is exactly the same at god of war 2018 but with a few different things added on and features tweaked. real change up the wording so it isnt as obvious you copied energy. Same with horizon i started forbidden west and got bored after like 20 minutes because it felt like i was playing horizon zero dawn again but with a new “pullcaster” and brighter sun rays, i never even bothered to play spiderman because im not into super hero stuff but from what Ive seen every game plays the exact same mechanics and all. PlayStation for me fell off because it feels like it keeps releasing the same games with a new title, slightly different gameplay mechanics, and slightly better graphics

just switch to PC, the best platform for games. period.

the worst part is that the switch menu could have been good. Like make it a red background, add some details in that background, add some music, remodel the icons to be more colorful while being minimal, and probably make more themes like the 3DS, heck even custom themes if possible!

the thing is sony was nintendos only compeditor after sega stoped makeing consoles so how are they just leting nintendo get away with no new ips for the past 35-40 years they even started geting cocky with it luigis mansion 3 release date halloween day all they need to make more exclusives make small games people can play whilst they make the big titles even if the game dosent have realistic graphics so what if any higher ups at sony see this probly not make new ips revive old ones and dont take it out on your employees

While Sony has a lot of areas to work on, I think this video is leaving out many of the positives of the PS5. The PS5 has already sold nearly 66 million consoles worldwide and I’m sure after this holiday season the number will shoot up. There are plenty of quality exclusives (Astro Bot just won game of the year) that they don’t need to pump out a shit ton of mid-tier games every year. I’d much rather wait 4 years for a God of War: Ragnarok level experience than get a Stathawk level game every 3 months. Also the prices of the console are going down. Ps Plus going up to $80 sucks but with how the economy is right now, it makes sense. Just like games going for $60 to $70, a price jump was inevitable. I could go on but honestly, if any company should be blamed it should be Microsoft for royally fucking up with the Xbox One and making Sony feel untouchable.
