    I am European, and I am returning to Europe with my dog and he has a Pet passport, so he doesnt need the USDA certificate but it seems I cannot find a sincgle vet that issues a simple Health Certificate for my airline... Can you guys help?

    • @PAWDEGA
      @PAWDEGA 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hello, thanks for your comment. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble receiving a Health Certificate. You should not need a health certificate if your dog has a valid rabies vaccine issued by an EU veterinarian. However, if you're having issues with the airline, maybe share the government link with this information with the airline. According to the USDA, If this is a non-commercial movement (i.e., no more than 5 pets, the pet is not being transferred to a new owner or sold, and the pet is moving within 5 days before or after the owner or designated person*) and the rabies vaccination recorded in the EU Pet Passport is still valid and was recorded by an EU veterinarian, the pet will only need the EU Pet Passport to travel back to the EU. If the rabies vaccination recorded in the EU Pet Passport has expired and the pet requires revaccination in the U.S. or was already revaccinated while in the U.S., you will need to obtain an EU Health Certificate issued (completed and signed) by a USDA Accredited Veterinarian and endorsed (counter-signed and stamped) before the pet leaves the U.S. Source: www.aphis.usda.gov/pet-travel/another-country-to-us-import/pet-passports-european-union I hope this helps

    • @PAWDEGA
      @PAWDEGA 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey Joane, thanks for your comment. It’s recommended that golden paste be heated as the heat helps to significantly increase the bioavailability of curcumin, which is the main active compound found in turmeric. Heating and activating the curcumin allows the body to absorb and utilize its health benefits more effectively; essentially, heating makes the beneficial compounds in turmeric more readily available for the body to absorb.

    Clearly Extortion and Discrimination and animal abuse. This rule affects most countries in the world......HHS/CDC is requiring importers of foreign-vaccinated dogs that have been in a DMRVV high-risk country within the last six months to enter the United States through an airport with a CDC quarantine station and a CDC-registered ACF. The importer must have a reservation at the CDC-registered ACF and have their dog(s) undergo a veterinary exam and revaccination with a USDA-licensed rabies vaccine at the CDC-registered ACF. The importer must obtain a rabies serologic test from a CDC-approved laboratory for their foreign-vaccinated dogs demonstrating adequate titer levels. Importers of foreign-vaccinated dogs that have been in a DMRVV high-risk country within the last six months who cannot obtain serologic test results prior to importation are required to have their dog remain under quarantine at the facility for 28 days after revaccination or until confirmation of adequate rabies serologic test from a CDC-approved laboratory is obtained, whichever occurs first.

    @Lynda1357 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

    September 05, 2024 Why Do We Need to Fight the CDC on their New Dog Importation Rules? There are many reasons why the new CDC dog import rules just don’t make sense. Here’s a quick by-the-numbers breakdown: 4 - the number of rabies cases caused by imported dogs in the last 10 years. No humans were impacted. 4,000 - the number of rabies cases reported in the US each year, (not related to dogs). 113 - of the 195 countries in the world 113 are on the CDC’s “high-risk” list and affected by the new CDC rules. 483 - the number of International Airports in the US. 6 - the number of airports travelers are allowed to use when entering the US with their dogs from any of the 113 'high-risk' countries. Prior to entry, each dog not previously vaccinated in the US must receive a rabies vaccine and have certification from a CDC-approved serology lab verifying the vaccine's effectiveness. 9 - countries on the “high-risk” list have a CDC-approved serology lab. This forces many individuals to send their dog’s blood work to a different country to be processed by a CDC-approved lab. Expenses and timing vary from country to country. $997* - the amount the individual/rescue must pay to a CDC-approved quarantine facility at one of the 5 approved airports in the US to re-vaccinate their dog upon entering the country. Note: all dogs entering these facilities for revaccination already have a valid CDC-recognized rabies vaccine as proven with the titer test. $225 -the amount of the $997 revaccination fee which is allocated as a CDC Admin Fee. 3 PM - the time the vet at the JFK Airport quarantine facility leaves for the day. The vet is only available until 3 PM on weekdays. Revaccination is not able to happen in the evenings, on weekends, or on holidays. $167 - the daily fee individuals must pay for their pet if they need to stay at the quarantine facility to wait for the vet. Note: animals cannot be picked up prior to vaccination. Anyone who does not live within driving distance of one of the 5 quarantine facilities in the US must find lodging to stay near the facility until their dog is released and then find additional transportation home. There are horror stories of people waiting for up to 3 days to have their dogs vaccinated at the Miami facility, simply because the center was too backed up. Individuals are missing their connecting flights and being forced to pay for new ones. Why does the CDC need to revaccinate dogs who have been certified at one of their approved labs as having a rabies vaccine? The CDC does not have a clear answer. We must keep the pressure on the CDC. Congress has already forced the CDC to roll back rules restricting dog movement between the US and Canada, but we can’t stop here! Contact your representative today! Find and contract your representatives here. The phone number for the U.S. House of Representatives switchboard is 1-202-224-312 BEWARE TRAVELERS With Pets Traveling To USA New CDC rules as of August 1, 2024 Force more than half the world (113 countries) traveling with their pet to pay over $1000 at reservation centers upon arrival in USA. If you do not believe this contact: cdcreservation@rueskennelsatlax.com 310-692-0843 and ask them what is the MINIMUM charge to process pets entering USA in cabin with passenger with all correct documents including CDC approved titer test for rabies. They are also risking the health of your pet by forcing duplicate rabies vaccination on pets with proof of antibodies from CDC approved laboratory. Clearly Extortion and a violation of animal right and a danger to pets to re-vaccinate an animal with antibody proof.

  • @Lynda1357
    @Lynda1357 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I agree this is extortion and dangerous to force a rabies vaccine on a dog or cat that has a valid cdc approved laboratory titre test. CDC has no regard for the health of the animal. They will tell you it won't hurt your dog. This is not true. Look it up online. Why are they charging $1400 to land in LAX airport with a hand carried small pet in Cabin. NO ONE will itemize these charges for you. I did see it printed that the CDC administrator is receiving $225 for every pet that lands on US soil from high risk country. The exam only takes 5 minutes if all paperwork is in order. Clearly the public is being extorted and the animal facility is blaming CDC and CDC says its the animal facility. CAll them yourself and just try to ask them itemize what costs $1400 minimum to land in LAX.

    I use a red light therapy/NIR who also has the pulse option on my frenchie who has gotten an issue with his neck/spine (nerves which makes him struggle to walk and his one leg is also dragging). I also use this pad on myself. It is for humans, so what you say about you should only use a red light therapy for pet is wrong. The one who owns the company I have bought from has dogs and he uses those on them. They have many different types, pads, portable devices, panels etc. You do need the red light/NIR though and the NIR is invinsible to the eye but you should never look directly to that light. Often red light therapy devices are much more expensive if you buy something aimed at pets.

I’ve had 2 different vets give it to me for loose stool with a bit of blood . First time , I stopped after 3 days . She went 5 days without it and the second vet gave it to her at a slightly lower dose . We don’t have all natural vets where I live .

      Hello, I’m so sorry to hear about your dog. Unfortunately, we can’t advise on whether or ot to stop this medication. However, we highly recommend including a functional pre and probiotic after this drug is given. Metronidazole virtually wipes out all bacteria both the good and the bad. If there is no beneficial bacteria (i.e pre and probiotics) the gut is vunerable to reinfection from bad bacteria thus leading to diarrhea or other issues. We highly recommend using Fido’s Flora - The world’s 1st canine-specific probiotic for dogs. pawdega.us/products/fidos-flora There after, if your dog is having loose stools, you may be interest in our natural diahrrea support bundle pawdega.us/products/diarrhea-support If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us: pawdega.us/pages/contact

    I have been dealing with this for months. I was supposed to fly my dogs from Dubai to Chicago. Have had to change our flight to Washington DC as it is the closest airport to the midwest that allows travel by excess baggage. Then the flight was delayed because the registered CDC animal care facility wouldn't accept the titer test because one of my dogs' vaccines wasn't given on the day it expired back in 2021 so the 3 year vaccine was null and void. We had to do another vaccine and another titer test...All is now hopefully in order so we can finally travel in November. After they are released from the CDC facility in Washington, DC we will need to fly again to the midwest. At least we can travel together. BTW...how is the UAE a high risk country in the first place?

      This is a great question. Both Chaga & Turkey Tail mushroom tinctures have been widely studied for their ability to help prevent and fight various cancers and diseases. Generally, if there are no current health concerns, we recommend rotating between Turkey Tail and Chaga Mushrooms daily, weekly, or monthly. Each mushroom tincture has different beneficial compounds, so alternating between the two will provide variety and maximum benefit. Chaga and Turkey Tail Mushrooms can be used in tandem. We wouldn’t say that one is better than the other. If your pet has been diagnosed with cancer, then we recommend speaking with an integrative or holistic veterinarian about including Chaga in their protocol I hope this helps, and we wish your dog lots of strength, health, and wellness.

    thank you for this video! I am having similar issues flying my pug from rome to the uae. the pet relocation agencies say that dogs cannot arrive at DXB airport in cabin but the airline ( ita airways ) say it is allowed and I booked the flight which only costs 100 EUR from Rome. So i am beginning to think is this some kind of secret pet relocation agencies keep in order to charge those crazy fees ? or is it airline dependant? I contacted Moccae and they say it is up to the airline. i am still unsure of what is actually true

    • @PAWDEGA
      @PAWDEGA หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately the rules for flying INTO Dubai with a dog in cabin are different. As per our knowledge as of right now, all dog's flying into Dubai must be in cargo unless they are registered service dogs, or you fly with Turkish Airlines or Qatar Airways and the dog must be under 8kg (but they charge about $1000 for this).

    • @FrancescoLucchese-c1f
      @FrancescoLucchese-c1f หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PAWDEGA but i asked the airline repeatedly and they say it is allowed to fly as it is 8 kgs. Lufthansa also say it is allowed if small dogs and they dont charge $1000 but only 90 euros. I also dont understand who to ask, Moccae does not mention anything about the dog having to arrive as cargo. I wrote to them and their reply was basically that it is up to the airline. It is very confusing

      @PAWDEGA หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FrancescoLucchese-c1f I know how frustrating it is to deal with this. Many airlines will tell you it's possible, but when you try to book the dog onto the flight, there will be a 'system error'. But it sounds like you already successfully booked your dog onto a flight? Please do report back to us and let us know if it all works out for you. The rules and regulations in Dubai change all the time, so if you're able to fly your dog in cabin for $100, that would be amazing, and we'd love to know about it! All the best to you.

      The flight is booked and confirmed by the airline. I called moccae regarding this and they say " it is up to the airline". Then I asked what about dogs having to arrive as manifest cargo? They said " ask the airport authority" I did ask the airport authority and they say " ask moccae ". There seems to be consensus though that it is up to the airline to decide. Also dogs are not allowed to walk inside the terminal but it's ok if inside the bag. The rule seems to be if the airline allows it you are good to go. Wish me luck

    We need to talk about the extra fees the care facility is charging, in addition to the microchip, serology, vaccinations, and health certificates. We still have to pay around $1,500 just to bring our furry family members into the country. I believe this is a way for the government to discriminate against certain countries. They need to understand that these animals are part of our family. No one would travel or move to another country and leave their child behind, for example. It’s not fair that such high costs are imposed on responsible pet owners who are simply trying to bring their beloved companions with them. For many of us, abandoning our pets is not an option. They are our family members, and we deserve to relocate with them without facing prohibitive financial barriers. I hope the government will reconsider these fees and regulations and make the process less burdensome for people who just want to keep their families-human or not-together. This version emphasizes the emotional aspect while also addressing the financial burden.

      We never did any MRIs because by the time we got to the vet she was already walking and the vet did not think it was necessary. We always want to avoid sedating her, so we did not want to do the MRI if it wasn't necessary. She has not had any IVDD flare ups since that first initial injury and it's been over 1.5 years. I really hope she’s still doing well today. Your video was suggested to me, I made a video on our dogs passing from IVDD. One thing I want to say is our dog first showed signs of IVDD I believe at 1 years old, he would recover and be fine for a long time and then go through another pain/shaking thing so long later. I’m sure you’re being super careful with her but I just want to say that you shouldn’t advertise that she is healed or that these methods would heal the damage already done inside. I do know that some dogs experience the symptoms and then never do again which is awesome and I hope that’s your situation. I just want people to know who could be watching this that they can seem fine for a long time and then it can happen again, as did with my boy who passed at 3 years old.
