[4K] World's longest escalator -- Mid-Levels to the harbor
April, 2021.
This is a walk down from Conduit Road to the Central Ferry Piers that climbs down 200 meters (650 feet) from a leafy residential area in Hong Kong to the ferry piers at sea level.
On the way down we pass through Mid-Levels, a popular area for Western expat homes; Soho, which has been a hub for bars and restaurants; and Central, near to Hong Kong's CBD. We also pass through IFC, a major financial building, though we see the shopping mall area on this walk and not the offices.

[4K] Walking Tai Hang, Hong Kong Island
มุมมอง 1.7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
June 2021. Tai Hang is a another largely pedestrian and quiet neighborhood on Hong Kong Island, just south of Causeway Bay. It's a 10-minute walk from an MTR station (a lifetime in Hong Kong!) and it's off a large road, meaning traffic only comes to the smaller streets if it really needs to making for a great neighborhood for young families and also (increasingly) young professionals. This film...
[4K] Walking SoHo's bar district, Hong Kong
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
March 2021. This was filmed on a Thursday night and takes two loops that comprise much of SoHo's bar and restaurant scene. We begin at a crossroads and walk down Elgin Street to Hollywood Road, turn right on Hollywood Road and then right again to come up the hill vie Peel Street. Peel Street feels like the new LKF when it's busy, given the number of people drinking outdoors. After returning to ...
[4K] Walking Wellington Street, Hong Kong (威靈頓街)
มุมมอง 3.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
March 2021 Wellington Street takes you from Lan Kwai Fong in the eastern end to Queen's Road Central on the west. We start at the street's western end at the junction of Queen's Road Central, and walk east to Lan Kwai Fong. The street today is a mix of businesses, though increasingly on the street level you'll find restaurants and cafes. Given the street intersects with many others, including A...
[4K] Walking "Cat Street" Antiques Market, and a Tai Ping Shan Street area, Hong Kong (摩羅上街)
มุมมอง 2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
March 2021. We start on Upper Lascar Row, which is sometimes referred to as Cat Street, given its early history of being an area that resells stolen goods (stolen goods can be referred to as "mouse goods" and thus the cats are shoppers ready to pounce on a bargain). Today, it's better known for its antiques market, which sits along a quiet and pedestrianized road perfect for a stroll on the wee...
[4K] Tai Kwun walk, Hong Kong (大館)
มุมมอง 9943 ปีที่แล้ว
March 2021 Tai Kwun is one of the most spectacular spaces in Central. Thanks to careful renovation, this former jail, court and prison is now a tastefully done museum to the past and a home to arts for contemporary Hong Kong. Tai Kwun (大館) started off as a miserable place for most that visited. It was referred to as a "one-stop shop for justice," which meant if you were grabbed by police outsid...
[4K] Walking Caine Road, Hong Kong
มุมมอง 2.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
March 2021 We take a walk along Caine Road, one of the main commercial and residential streets among the Mid-Levels district. We actually begin here right at the end of Bonham Road, as it become Caine Road, and we head east. At the end is a Roman Catholic cathedral, and near to that used to be Rose Hill, the permanent residence for Franklin Roosevelt's mother, who was connected to the area thro...
[4K] Walking Victoria Park, Hong Kong
มุมมอง 2.9K3 ปีที่แล้ว
March 2021 It's a gloomy Sunday in Hong Kong but I took a walk through Victoria Park, a fantastic space that connects Causeway Bay on the west to Tin Hau and out to Fortress Hill on the east. The park was built on reclaimed land in the 1950s (what is the park today used to be the typhoon shelter) and got a big makeover about 20 years ago. Given this was a Sunday, many of the city's domestic hel...
[4K] Causeway Bay, Hong Kong walk Part 3 -- Lee Garden area
มุมมอง 9K3 ปีที่แล้ว
March 2021 This walk kicks off on Kai Chiu Road, outside of the Hysan Place shopping mall. This is one of the busiest streets in Causeway Bay, as it links Times Square with Hennessy Road, and is the route over to Sogo Fashion Walk and Victoria Park. From there we head south on Lee Garden Road to Hysan Avenue, which moves from casual and small stores to the posh area. We circle back on Yun Ping ...
[4K] Mong Kok, Fa Yuen Street -- Hong Kong walk
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Feb. 2021 This walk takes us from Dundas Street north up Fa Yuen Street, up to near Argyle Street in Mong Kok. Fa Yuen Street is also known colloquially as "sneaker street" as it has traditionally been home to sneaker stores. At the north end of the street we cut through a new development called The Forest, which knocked down a small block and erected a shopping mall on the first few storeys, a...
[4K] Lamma Island Yung Shue Wan, Hong Kong walk
มุมมอง 4.1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Feb. 2021 This is a short walk through the high street of Yung Shue Wan, a small town on Lamma Island, about 25 minutes by ferry from Hong Kong's downtown Central district. It's a short walk and very different from the Hong Kong Island / Kowloon urban areas. The town feels like a busy village, and is a popular tourism destination for Hong Kongers, with a nice beach, hiking routes and plenty of ...
[4K] Mong Kok, Sai Yeung Choi Street -- Hong Kong walk
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Feb. 2021 This walk starts on Dundas Street in Mongkok, a popular street for local food trends (with street facing takeout restaurants that change rapidly.) We head west along the road and turn north up Sai Yeung Choi Street. This street used to be pedestrianized for large parts of the day, making it a popular busking area but buskers have since had to relocate. Upon reaching Argyle Street we t...
[4K] Times Square Shopping Mall, Causeway Bay -- Hong Kong Walk
มุมมอง 9K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Feb. 2021 Times Square opened in 1994, after The Wharf developers took over what used to be the tram depot. The Causeway Bay area at the time was mostly residential and not seen as a particularly desirable part of town now however it's prime retail real estate! Times Square was the first of what would become standard in Hong Kong: A vertical shopping mall, fitting about 200 stores in to eight o...
[4K] Causeway Bay, Hong Kong walk Part 2 -- Yiu Wa Street area
มุมมอง 4.2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Feb. 2021 We pick up where Part 1 (th-cam.com/video/wsLpGn3qa74/w-d-xo.html) leaves off, at the corner or Sharp Street East and Matheson Road. From there the walk goes south to Yiu Wa Street, another popular bar and restaurant street with one very popular Sichuan restaurant 渝酸辣粉, definitely worth checking out! After Yiu Wa Street we turn south again on Canal Road East and back again on Leighton...
[4K] Causeway Bay, Hong Kong walk Part 1 -- Tang Lung Street area
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Feb. 2021 This walk begins on the corner of Hennessy Road and Canal Road East, and starts walking eastward on Hennessy, a major thoroughfare linking Wan Chai to Victoria Park, running right through Causeway Bay. We then double back through a back alley and double back again to walk along Tang Lung Street, which has long been a good spot for food this video was filmed at lunch time, so you can s...

Ah, the serene charm of the back streets of Hong Kong! 🏙 Watching this video feels like a peaceful journey through the heart of a bustling city. The narrow alleys, adorned with colorful signs and bustling with life, exude a unique tranquility that is both mesmerizing and enchanting. It's a beautiful reminder of the harmony between the urban landscape and the peaceful moments hidden within it. Thank you for capturing the beauty of Hong Kong's back streets and sharing it with us!

Causeway Bay has a lot of things to offer for many onlookers and ongoers. There's the traditional sides and the tech sides of the communities. It's good to be in places such as these. There are numerous food stores and shops, and dept.stores and well known tech.brands that sells the items as appliance plasmas TV, cellular phone, jewelry, health, beauty products, health services administration-freebies and discounts cards amongst stores/suppliers. SMEs General practices......respectively.
