Whoops! I hope he’s ok... Caine Road isn’t the most exciting street but it functions as an important street in the Mid-Levels district. It’s always interesting to see which videos pique people’s interest as sometimes I may think a video will be boring and people like it. Other times, I think it’s interesting and people don’t like it 😅 But by one day in the future I’ll have done every street! Even the boring ones haha
They're all apartments, though if we take a walk down the hill right at the beginning there are some original houses (very very rare to find a house in the city!) But I believe even those original houses are now apartments too. Caine Road is funny too as both ends are very green and light, but it's such a major street for shopping (mostly for neighbourhood essentials and a few cafes, not like a "destination" shopping street). Thanks for watching!
This is the street I growth up. Lot of memory. Thanks for the video.
I loved the balcony with all the plants growing out the side. So cool!
Thank you! :-)
Not a street I would have walked down, but now, as I eat my breakfast, I don't have to :) easter egg: tripping incident spotted just after 13:02

@@richardwalkshongkong it's interesting to see the "behind the scenes" less touristy streets as well. at least for me 😆
Nice walk..a street with some foot massages and property shops...I also now know where 24/7 fitness is...thanks
I guess you could call it the Main Street for Mid-Levels 🙂
Not to mention if you’re in the area one day definitely get fish and chips from Hooked on Caine Road. Best in HK apparently
Also of note is the disappearance of Olympia Graeco Egyptian Coffee from Old Bailey Street. They demolished that building..!
@@richardwalkshongkong 😢
At the beginning, are these small apartments or semi town houses? 😀 this area is so different from the busy commercial areas, much quieter. 😀
