If its just the outer handle i dont think you need to do anything just pull the screw on the side of the door and slide the handle back/disconnect. Ideally thats all youll need to do for that particular job

@ I heard it’s a huge upgrade but I think the sway bar sits behind the front 2 subframe mounts. May need to lower the subframe in order to do it. If that’s true then I’m leaving it alone lol

@ if its just lower then shouldn’t be a big deal , if complete removal then it definitely would be tough

@@Dentprotony Thank you very much for reply. I work at a composite company and we had some dyno test with several types of pads with carbon ceramic rotors. And found out that the ones from Pagid which is made for carbon ceramic rotors were optimal option. Other ones showed similar tribological behavior, but when the rotor got heated, some points were not that good than Pagid ones. So my suggestion is, applying RSC series or stock pads for M carbon ceramic brake disc if you are not satisfied with current pads when driving in high temperature condition or in some bad weather conditions.

Meh i had right over 1/2 a quart left in mine, there is no holes in the bunch, gm is not that bright , that’s why your oil is pouring all over the skid plates and crossbrace at every oil change

Definitely does not drain all the oil, this from GM engineers

@@DaveO-ts8dw yes, it is a beautiful piece, more oil, cooling fins, drain bolt location so that you dont pour oil all over the brace and skid plates, love everything about it

Thank you, i believe only x5/x6 have this issue and some awd 5 series of that era, also f25 x3, but not x1, it doesn’t have a front driveshaft if i remember correctly

@@daylanbrandback5224 kit is 2490, thats carbon ceramic pads, calipers completely gone through (hardware, seals, sandblast and paint), t7075 brackets , all the bolts necessary for the installation, rotors are not included with the kit , i will provide part numbers on what you need to work and install properly

@@mikhaillumanlan2175 just the discs were 3200, replica hubs and brackets were 580 , i had m5 calipers already just had them rebuilt and painted, metallic pads were around 150.

@Dentprotony Me personally, no, however, it is quite common to occur when an engine and more specifically, the Duramax's crank case isn't put under a slight vacuum. It shouldn't happen immediately, but it will cause it fail prematurely.

It's a diesel. Not much vac lol. Ccv is not pcv

​@OscyJack- You are right diesels in general don't create a lot of natural vacuum but the Duramax does make enough to keep the seals from leaking with all the boost pressure blowing by the rings. Like I said, it's not immediate nor is it detrimental but for overall longevity it's relatively cheap insurance and it will keep odor vapor out of the cab and oil vapors off the underside of the truck. ✌🏼🖖🏼

@ thank you for your answer, it is quite expensive to be honest. I Wonder how much the difference is between the stock ones. I like to Upgrade my car to the highest limits , dont like to buy a New Car every year

@@matty3476 yes any x5 can benefit from this shaft, its simply an investment to avoid major and costly repair. Where i would start is check for up and down shaft play at the transfer case , if its excessive definitely contact me. I ship to uk often
