The song Soul Centred Living is the title track to his first mixtape now on bandcamp, which talks about taking time to enjoy the simple joys in life despite whatever troubles us. Narada and Rouge have known each other for years so collaborating on a video was bound to happen. Narada already knew him to be a fearless rider and wanted to shoot him on home turf, talking about his favourite restaurants and memories. Since Rouge was putting out music, it only made sense to make a music video of Rouge riding through traffic just as he did for so many years
Music written, recorded, and produced by Courrier Rouge
Video filmed, edited by Narada Kiondo
Look at the plants and ponder how they're living
Forget the weights on your mind, the damage you been given
The damage that you give makes you no super-villain
But it's body consciousness, not soul-centred living
Watching the yutes play, remember snowballs and bug fights
Picking up rocks and running up the street with kites
That kid is still inside and you are still alive
Buried under rubble screaming for dear life
Cut the ganj and the booze
Cuz when I went off it make me wanna put my life on snooze
Only 28 and still got lots to lose
But shit don't seem it when there will never be another you
Nor me too, creation of the mind
Deliverance from suffering no way to rewind
Let me take those words back, before the suicide
Cutting it dry, wetting your soft eyes
Every other MC is tryna get on playlists
I'm the the only one the feds are always tryna fuck with
The only one that's called the crisis line for help
The only one recognizing real love is real wealth
Stop dancing, you ain't no Michael Jackson
You ain't no Shabba Ranks you don't know dick about fashion
Been wearing this hoodie for 10+ years
My lines got bedbugs, yours crawl with veneers
Can't say nothing I ain't said to myself
Mans got thick skin and a sharp tongue styl
From getting jumped I know to turn a situation
Don't need a pokey to poke at your masturbation
Low the bucket hat, you dunno how to fish
All this fake shit, lemme reel you in
Left my hometown cuz mans were out for me
Put mans on hooks, not talking responsibility
Gutted em up, with my bare hands
Battered with flour, in a sizzlin' pan
Lo hice solo, didn't need bare mans
I'm on that God shit but this was just His plan
No clan, no kin, just one man
With the final solution for you wastemans
Show me real hip-hop and I'll give you respect
Otherwise I'll use the chains to hang your neck
Look at plants and ponder how they're living
Forget the weights on your mind, the damage you been given
The damage that you give makes you no super-villain
But it's body consciousness, not soul-centred living

what's his gear ratio?
A decent rider. Didn't give heart attack on people. I respect that.
What city is this?
Toronto
Nice music videooooo
Tf this is slapping

Oh shit the legendary Zeke saw my vid? I'm wet
Finally got around watching the video. Awesome work you both!! Also hearing the keys gingle at the end was a nice touch aha.

Omg look who's talkin 😉
KISS KISS
All I saw is my yute caressing a bus and flowers on a bike 🤯🤯🤯
Keep going
Good for you ! I would never be able to do that job ! Hard work!
Being is messenger is exactly that, the best job in the world and literally a eye opener on a different level. I never want to do anything else ever again!!❤❤
Colours are looking serious brother! 🔥
Just found your channel, please post more!!
F*Ck cars
boy, Sonia still got it. sharp as a tack. them street car tracks can be dangerous tough. :-)
nice scenic ride along bayview. love the colour and air that time of year. skillfully maneuver traffic with a touch of Canadian politeness. character.
I guess the bike messengers business is alive and well. enjoyed the episode. was it hard to keep up?
Thank you. It wasn't as hard as I thought even though Adam is fast. Although I've been a messenger for a while now, so that helps!
gnarly ride. that's all over downtown Toronto, thanks for ride along footage. didn't know the alley cat race is still happening in TO. cool!
Racing in a bike lane. you know this 2024 and not the 90s boys.
😅
How can fixed gear go uphill?
Toronto seems nice!! Must visit Canada someday. Greetings from Finland!
Send it , is the only real grass roots messeneger run company left in Toronto i believe..
🙌❤️🔥 Such a great ride! Dundas Street East or West is challenging. Thank you Sonia and Narada for this amazing video.
You are the people that give cyclists a shit rep
Can you guys get tired? 😅
What exactly is this? How to be an idiot on a bike while wearing no helmet?
be at home homie
I like the short interviews in the middle of the rides!
That's a beautiful city.
Sounds like the bottom bracket needs some maintenance. Squeaking a bit.
Haha. He was telling me that all day
Sonia has so much confidence in her tires. My worst bike fall ever was on cold, slick streetcar tracks.
Same. The streetcar tracks in the winter are awful
is Sendit looking for more couriers?
Follow them in insta. They usually post there when they are hiring
How can I join? what distance do you guys cover per Race?
Every race is different so it's hard to say, but anywhere btn 20km to 50km. Races are usually posted on insta or Facebook
👍👍👍
Best cycling vid I’ve seen in Toronto. I hope you make more of these - your channel will blow up. It’s just a matter of time. Cheers 🍻
Because putting strangers at risk is okay as long as I am having fun! I am more important than anybody else!!
Hell yeah! Nice filmed! Whats device you used for recording btw
Thank you. I used a gopro hero11
I remember when we only allowed actual working bike messengers to race. Who are these clowns? This is exactly why I stopped doing alleycats. Much like the rest of mess-culture, its been co-opted by wannabees and posers. Lame.
For sure. A lot of Toronto alleycats are still planned and run by bike messengers actually. And I would say a majority of those who race them are messengers. The person in this video is a messenger as well, as am I
Yeah bro you’re so cool , enjoy living below the poverty line and gate keeping bicycles lmao
@@ItsBunCha yes, best cyclist in the city! theres no old people doing this job lol
@@JK-yi9gk You have no fucking clue what you are talking about. There is literally an 85 year old bike messenger named Steve who has been doing it longer that any two of you have been alive. HAHAHAHAHA!!! More proof youre talking out your ass.
@@ItsBunChaalthough it sounds like typical old head you have soft hands rookie, he is kinda right, a lot of the non messenger that show up just saw some videos and want to show off, the same kind that create bad situations with bad riding
How bike friendly is ol Toronto aka the home of Reggae rapper "Snow" anyways?
Awesome. Big HUG from Brazil 🤟
nice looking city
