This is interesting they’re saying this guy created cream cheese on a hotdog from “putting it on a turkey sandwich”. I thought it was pretty well Hadley Long invented when he started selling hotdogs from his bagel cart, then people started modifying the idea from there 🤔

Now you can see why this dude WORKS. Because THIS B could talk NONSTOP and dominate THE ENTIRE INTERVIEW! But he's so calm, patient, sharp and SMOOTHLY But quickly picks his moment to interject and get a word in edgewise. Whew! So good to see his career flourish like this over all these years! ✊️

If you wish to support an ethically locally run business - this is NOT your spot. No sandwich is worth it, especially those with a dumb pun namesake and made in a hostile work environment. Despite the glowing social media buzz and fluffy write-ups, there is a reason you don’t see familiar faces you grew to know at Layers…even the accomplished baker who made the most beautiful biscuits and filled that pastry case with love. This is due to the patterned toxic management practices of the owners, Ashley and Avery Hardin. A majority of the very talented employees that helped bolster the success of this business have been either unfairly terminated or forced out in the past six months. These ex-employees are also primarily people of color or of a minority group. For a brick and mortar restaurant only reaching a year, their departed list is beyond suspicious and warrants community concern. The lack of transparency by Ashley/Avery surrounding these events is discouraging, especially based on the “unity” ethos they attempt to spotlight. Their lack of accountability with shutting off comments is very loud. I promise you there are better establishments to support with your business (and you might *even* get cheese a top your sandwiches there!)

I have been there too, but if you wanna really see if a ghost has done something, you gotta put the powder all over the back of the car because when you push your car, you don’t push it by the bumper you’ll push it from the top part where your hands and everything match up with your shoulders I push mini cars before you put the powder someplace else get it wet and then put the powder on it and that’s how you’ll tell.!

Dive bar!?!?!!!!!!! As a kid we would sit on the sidewalk in front of that location and watch the lowriders cruising by. Across the street kids would blast music and dance on the beach. No matter what a Californian spokesperson has to say about that location it is amazing. Can't wait to stop in and see if it lives up to dive bar standards.

Snow cone is different than shaved ice. Shaved ice is more finely shaved making it like snow instead of ice. I know it’s confusing. Shaved ice is snow, and snow cones are ice, or slushies.
