We don’t need power bans in Commander. There are dozens of more broken cards legal in the format; when there’s a consensus something is unfun or too overpowered for a non-cEDH game people mostly self-regulate. If they didn’t every LGS game would end turn 3 or 4.

Me and my playgroup have a lot of commander decks, our rule is that if you own the original card you can proxy the cards on other decks. We have saved thousands of dollars by having only one copy of each card instead of having 20 mana crypts. So yes 100% approved if you have the card

They wont ban Nadu. Its a sales driver in a premium set. Just like they didnt ban the one ring. It sells packs. Shuko isnt selling packs. They will ban shuko.

Weird question though in case of commander; would it be better to just ban it as a commander and allow it in the 99? Once you exile it, it’s gone for good, unless I’m missing something here in the rulings, which could easily be the case lol.

Didn’t ban nadu at my group but we always have two blue players at the table so 90% of the matches are him trying to resolve anything and one of the blue players going “how about no!”

I started play MTG 1 year ago. I started with opening some dominaria united boosters. I got à Sholdread in the first booster i opened. And i realize my luck only one week later bc i didn't realized it was à good card 😂

Six is the first mono green commander I wanted to build which is good cause it finishes my mono color commander box (blue: Emry - combo with storm sub themes red: Norin - ETB burn, White: myrel- token with pillowfort, black: sheoldred the apocalypse-Group slugs, green: six-retrace) I think it’s near green essentially has a reanimator deck.

To be honest, Rule Zeronis essential with powerful cards like this, but in my game store, nobody(that I know) has even bothered to put a Nadu deck together yet. It just isn't something that interests most of us. We all see the potential and the threat s/he poses, but the majority of players at my store prefer fun, more unique decks than just whatever the powerful new beat down commander is.

I dont undertand why not just errata it to be only twice each turn instead of twice per creature

One way they can make him less effective is to errata equipments so they no longer count as targeted abilities. Nadu would still be strong but nowhere near as consistent. At most you might get 2 draws a turn max of your lucky

Is everybody saying that Nadu should be banned in Modern? Or like everywhere? Cuz he definitely not going to be banned in commander.

Something to keep in mind playing this deck is that Emerge only reduces the cost by generic mana, so any colored pips in the emerge cost must still be paid For example if you Sacrifice a 9 mana Skitterbeam to Emerge Herigast you still need to pay RR, it doesn’t make Herigast free to cast

Nadu is fine in commander. If your a casual just hold up a damn swords or some kind of spot removal. It will die. Grow. Learn. PLAY THE GAME. If someone brings a nadu to your table and is bringing a full Cedh version That's a problem. You shouldn't be playing that player. In any shape or form. Your not going to try to learn from them you want to remain vanilla and they're not going to slow down for you it bores them. Even if they water down they're deck these "power players" are going to optimize whatever they use against you banned or not your getting stomped

Having played against Nadu, in EDH, this cards everyone needs to mulligan to hold at least one or two Removal for this commander alone.

Nadu is not a problem in edh and especially not in cEDH. Now modern - that is a whole different story and it should just be banned. We should also talk about the one ring.

I've played against a Rin and Seri deck, and it gets outta hand really quick.

I don't like simic colors. Even in spoiler season I still didn't join the hype train over this card. Hell I even beat 2 players using this card in draft. If I cared yes it should be banned but since I don't care bring it.

2 of my group memebers arw building it. It should probably be banned. Its better than Protean Hulk, its better than paradox engine. Lutri is banned because its an auto include in izzet. Should be the same for Nadu
