He isnt a good rider, just drop down a gear of you needed acceleration
It's got a 286 cc motor, sounds like it's too small for you and the way you ride which is more suited to at least a 500 cc job.
I've ridden 225cc bikes that pull better, it's all in the gearing
@@davidsfix True but both the Ninja and Vulcan have the same basic motor but are quite different in power delivery.
Hello my friend..yamaha scorpio 225 from 🇲🇨 indonesia🙏
Good bike but awful seat
Doesn't include the master cylinder btw 😂
I feel exactly the same about the handling, mirrors, low speed jerk, mirrors, and highway speed. You can push it 120 km/h, but don't feel safe and comfortable. As you mentioned, 15-20 min but not for a long ride. Twenty years ago, I could push a honda Astra 110 cc a max 113 km/h. I completely agree with your review. I wish to change my opinion on this bike as I have it only for two months.
Song is just stuck in my head :D Scooooter of shame!
Greetings to New Zealand from the Baltic (guess where that is 😂). Loving that particular sound of the BMW boxer, I am riding the same R850R. It seems to be a nice community 😊.
Hahaha I enjoyed this, more please (:
Bmw wheelies 😊
Wish I have that problem lol
I love both.
Hahaha just need to fuel up
Purple screamer
suzuki
seen a few of these lately, contemplating between this and the f800r
"The main thing that has let me down is the engine" *proceeds to change into 5th gear at 40km/h.🤣
Mexico Speed?
You ride the bike hella slow and gently and want it to react big and torquey. You need to learn to get the power out of it to be honest bro.
Scooter of shame made you famous
My first viral video haha kind of what started it all for me lol
@@davidsfix we wanted you to be here “all night thank you” but no encore
Do love the sound of a mc22
Whats that motorcycle?
It's an adly RT50. A clone of a Suzuki street magic from the 90s! Awesome little thing!
@@davidsfix thanks for your reply buddy!!
Finally found the original. Props for the video. It made my days a lot better, when I was riding the scooter of shame myself
HAHAHAHAHAHA, poor helmet
Nice vid
Love my 08 r1
Still a nice cbr though. I might be wrong but it looks like the 250cc 2stroke which is a really good bike for that size displacement also cause it’s Light as hell.
Oh it's still the bike I'd take if I'm riding hard twisties. This one is the 4 stroke 4cyl 250, I'd love to own the 2 stroke nsr!
Mc19 looking at the rims.. i have a 92mc22 love it as my first bike@davidsfix
😂 nice
Love this, we have a scooter of shame!
It'sa 300.... and it accelarate like a 300.....Just buy the 650 and stop crying.
Your absolutely spot on I've never heard someone cry more than a child.😂
nice fix, how many miles does your bmw have ?
I have r15m, i use it only to go to work. Fuel Saver ✅ Low Maintenance ✅ also i have motorcycle with 135cc 😂, also to do my partime job as a food delivery when i feel boring. Fuel Saver ✅ Low Maintenance ✅ When i with my wife, i use my car. Actually R15M/R15v4 is a good bike but not for someone who love Speed Hunter. Try to get one and use it as ur daily working bike, u can save money for sure 👍
Baby R1?!? 😂 More like Baby R3, I can guarantee you if they sold this bike in the U.S not a single person would buy it lol.
They arent selling it in the US because it isnt meant for the US. It's targeted towards the asian market, catering to countries that have pretty dense cities making distances from one place to another pretty short, making speed limits a lot lower that the US. Lower speed limits and reduced distances mean more heavy traffic therefore making gas efficiency king over raw HP & torque. Since this is a 155cc, gas efficiency is phenominal. Reaching about 40km/L if you arent revving it out much. For the price, yes it is dumb as shit. But it is being advertised as a track bike, not a daily commute bike. Sub 200cc amateur races happen all the time in asia so there is a market for it.
Because u are non binary
Honestly facts 😂
@@dgfjg8113 I’ve owned a 2009 R1 for 11 years, Your defending a track focused 150cc scooter & calling me non binary? 😂 💀 the only thing your poor ass is riding is your magic carpet Aladdin 😉
not really sure why somebody would ever get one? it's not learner legal, you get all of the drawbacks of a racing bike with none of the pros.
It's learner legal in NZ and Australia, I assume you mean the UK? yamaha definitely had the Asian market in mind when they drew up this bike
there a lot people buy this in malaysia so this bike market success in asian market
Having the same exact bike, I can say the power is next to nothing compare to other bikes, but putting a set of Rosso3 and go around the track with it is so much fun because of the handling , it’s a fun small cc bike
I can get i used 650 for the price of the r 15m
bro the R15M is just a joke...
the new R2000 launching rabithole brought me to this video!
Ive been riding mine for a few months now. It is the Best bike i ever had. MIne has an Ohlins steering damper on it. And i own 5 Ducatis and a Harley, and Enfield, a Diablo Custom., an XSR, and about to get my third MV. Its like sitting on a tank, a sherman tank, and also you are literally almost sitting on the tank. Puts Ducatis to shame for quality and response. The four cylinder ones i mean. The 800 triples are rubbish (i have one of those two and its crap). The Brutale 1090 is a superbike. Mine has titanium arrow racing pipe on it increasing horsepower to about 159 hp .. and as the man says, if you dont own the bike and ride it till you know it like your own hand, it is indeed scary, throttle response is millimeter. Mine does wheelies on its own whim. Luckily in Thailand you dont lose your licence for that, nor for even driving without a license, just repeat fines. which is why i have been riding without a license for all my life. Yes the bike can kill an inecperienced rider. But i use mine even to go to the corner shop on it can go slow or fast and doesnt complain.. it isnt too much, The 800 is more tiring and harder to go on low revs. The 'chole' i9s not a choke it is a cold starter sytem that switches off as you drivce and close throttle. It fuels the engine on cold start. Read the manual dude
😊 I like the enthusiasm and fun in this video. Looks like a fun bike, I definitely don't need more power or speed lol
Dry
5:25 - shut up and ride the damn thing!
I had this bike for about four years and would like to point out that you need to be in the right gear to use all the power it has before complaining about slow acceleration, learn to use the right gear to keep rpms high. The handling is superb on this bike - if there is a limiting factor for handling, imho, it's me, the rider. While power of the bike is debatable, I'm a bit puzzled about your concerns about how nimble the bike is - you must be, or consider yourself to be, an extremely good rider to vine about the handling of the bike. If anything worth mentioning is that stock tires are overage and have room for improvement (I'm using Michelin Road6). Gearing is also good, I did change gearing to be a bit longer by putting a 15T sprocket (14 is stock) in the front. Overall love the bike, and together with improving some small bits of the bike I'm IGO to improve the most critical component - me, the rider. ;o)
Perhaps this particular bike had square tyres that was affecting the handling? Suppose I'll never know, but my background in regards to handling is on lightweight 4 cylinders 250cc (like MC22 and MC19) which is considered by many to be some of the best handling bikes. I will find another CB300 and refilm some acceleration pulls and re-review this bike's power, from reading other reputable reviews, I seem to be not alone in my opinion. we'll see!
This guy expects a 600cc performance from a 300cc 😂. Makes absolutely crap points to make this bike look bad. Its one of the best city bikes available in the segment with good handling and agility. The seat is nice enough not the best or the worst. The bmw also does 7 seconds to 100 kph. Comparison with duke 390 dosent both are different bikes and different segment. The miles per gallon is the best in the segment just check it. Thank you for ending the video.
I expect a 300 to outperform a 250 of the same price, I think that's a fair statement! And these days you can buy a 400 that is much more capable for pretty much the same price as a CB300 too, making it a bit of a weird market. If it had better gearbox and final drive ratios, this bike would be a beast! Still reckon the 300 is the best looking out of the competitors tho
shooting flames??? 🔥🔥🔥
Ye its true and i am fine with it lol
What helmet mount do you have? Been looking for a good one
I use standard gopro sticky mounts with extensions. The glue on those mounts is really strong, never had one fail 😀
@@davidsfixthank you! Just bought my first bike and was looking for something reliable
Y r in New Zealand
Yup! 😄
The bike having "multiple personalities" is what sold it for me 😂
Still so good for riding❤
