I only found 2 out of 3 items for the Ice Staff. Finally googled what they were for in the middle of Act 3. At that point it was too late :(

One thing i didn't know until recently; you apparently can't have both Arabella and her parents live. If she is alive, they die to Malus Thorm in the House of Healing in Act 2. If she dies, they live.

Another companion you can get during the end fight is the wizard from the tower if you bring him the Nightsong, it is actually a very nice help since he shoots meteors for you at enemies. But I doubt it's worth for the story

My favorite campsite is Wyrm's Lookout because I found a little ledge overlooking the outskirts of Baldur's Gate just beyond, and when I stood there the song "I want to live" started to play! It took me by complete surprise. Standing there to watch the scenery and listen to the song was honestly one of the most magical moments in the game for me.

Something fun you can do with sovereign gluts animating spores, if you knock the giant phase spider mother off her webs and into the hole that leads to the underdark, you can find her dead body when you go down there and you can use sovereign glut to use animating spores on it

Uuh, nice! 3 new Things for me ^^ my first 350h Playthrough was very effective I suppose.

I first discovered Gerringothe Thorm by accident - panicked thinking my entire party was going to be wiped out when I seen her health - used transmutation to turn her into a sheep to save myself and once she turned back she only had 6 health, the transformation had stripped her of all of her armour.

They're all over here either giving their "absolute" all for their warcries, or sounding like they stubbed their toe.... Then there's Lae'zel who sounds like a seagull on speed.

1/10th of the way their myself and loving every second of it. Already planning out my next playthrough. So many things I want to try in this game just to see how things change.

I actually ended up with Barcus in my camp at the tieflings celebration during my very first playthrough due to the weird order I was exploring in. it was a super cool surprise, even if he is a bit of a dick at this point in the game

based mountain pass #1, but my life is also over bc the dank crypt was rated too low the elfsong tavern is also nice, especially with how each character personalizes their bed setup :-]

You don’t have to kill the owlbear mother. Just wait until later in act 1 when the young owlbear shows up at the goblin camp. The goblins killed the mom.

My favorite camp is definitely the one where Gale put up a depression tent in the middle of a puddle.

There is a much better entrance to underdark in the zhent hideout

I do despise the Elfsong Tavern room and will NEVER again book it in a playthrough, but only because I can not for the life of me hear the „Song of Balduran“ one more time. I actually had to turn the sound down when going to camp in Act 3 after renting the Elfsong Tavern Room. I am with you on the very first camp and also the Underdark camp. I love these two.

Quick correction on the blighted village: I dont think it was the goblins who blighted it. Pretty sure Moonbrook was destryoed and "blighted" during the war between the Harpers/Druids and Ketheric.
